Director/performer Michael Lucas has managed to amuse and arouse once again. This time it’s with a blog, appropriately titled Lucasblog.com. Make sure to check out the entry on douching… (And tune in next week for an update on other denizens of GayPornLand and their blogs.) Speaking of Russian surprises, Raging Stallion’s J.D. Slater is enjoying a new slice of fame in Moscow. Soon after his EP “Harder” was released, Mr. Slater tells me he started getting fan mail from Russia. Soon, he says, “Russian DJ’s started asking about remixing the tracks. Apparently I’m a club hit in Moscow! I can’t say there’s much that surprises me anymore in this business, but that did it.” He’s online at JDslater.com.

This week kicked off with a bang when performer/director Blue Blake shocked the industry by abruptly announcing his retirement. It now appears YOUNG GODS will be the last film from Big Blue Productions. Stay tuned for those details. Meanwhile, Chi Chi LaRue’s Rascal Video crew are back from a ten-day shoot in Majorca, Spain. The directrix is bursting with stories, including several about an allegedly secluded beach location. During the filming of one scene, a small herd of cows emerged from out of nowhere and plopped themselves down right in the middle of the action. And while one of the Rascal studs was being vigorously rimmed on the beach during another scene, the cast and crew suddenly froze when a pleasure boat cruised into view with all hands on deck.

Hell’s bells, kids. It is quiet out there in GayPornLand. We’ve got the Grabby Awards coming up in Chicago over Memorial Day weekend, and this past week the Bad Boys Pool Party unspooled in Palm Springs (see below). Apart from that…eh, that’s about it. Of course, we’ve also chuckled at the nonspecific bitchery anonymously forwarded to anyone with an email address within the industry. I could take up an entire month’s worth of columns detailing the circle-jerking going on between a handful of self-styled “insiders” with too much time on their hands. Oy! It’s almost time for the hardworking (and chafing) “Adams Report” crew to head off for our summer vacation. That leaves just me alone with my new Johnny Hazzard dildo, thanks.
