[Edited 03/17/08.] Do some of the guys in these pics for Loehmann’s look familiar? They were shot back in February. Kudos to Falcon Exclusive Erik Rhodes and Lucas Entertainment Exclusive Ben Andrews for the primo modeling gig! I’m told they were hand-picked because the department store wanted an ad campaign specifically targeting gay men without being too obvious about it. (Click here for extra scoopage and pics from Mr. Andrews.) Click here for two more snaps…!

It was a tumultuous week in GayPornLand and in this edition of The Adams Report by JC Adams we’re all about Matt Sanchez, better known to us godless hedonists as A-lister (in his day) Rod Majors. This new hero of the righteous right-wing barely had a chance to enjoy his media-darling status before his gay porn past came to light. Now he’s standing by as his new friends denounce liberals, porn and homosexuality. Ah, yes, there’s nothin’ like a little moral condemnation to welcome the new spring season…

Leading Gay Advocacy Group Blasts “11 Inches of Pure Hypocrisy”

WASHINGTON, DC — The National Gay & Lesbian Task Force issued a statement today addressing the Matt Sanchez/Rod Majors controversy. Here is the full text of their statement:

March 8 — U.S. Marine reservist Matt Sanchez was given an Academic Freedom Award at last week’s Conservative Political Action Conference, where Ann Coulter hurled her “faggot” slur against Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards. Sanchez, who attends Columbia University, also recently appeared on conservative talk shows where he criticized “radical anti-military students” he met during campus recruiting. Reports have since surfaced that Sanchez has allegedly worked as a gay porn star, prompting silence from his (now former) right-wing cheerleaders and charges of hypocrisy lobbed at Sanchez by gay bloggers.

Updated: “Matt Sanchez Responds (Sort Of)”

Cpl. Matt Sanchez has spoken in an email exchange with the blogger from JoeMyGod.blogspot.com, who initially broke the story of the Republican activist’s gay porn past. Joe notes, “As I’m sure most of you will be, I’m somewhat disappointed with a few of the answers.”

In the brief interview, Mr. Sanchez dodges the question of his sexuality (”I’m pretty bad at being gay”), confirms that he is a registered Republican and reveals that he has been in touch with Rich Merritt, whose military service, and career in gay porn as performer Danny Orliss, was revealed upon publication of his memoir, Secrets of a Gay Marine Porn Star, in 2005. Matt Sanchez notes that he is also penning a memoir.

This week in the Adams Report by JC Adams, conservative blowhard Bill O’Reilly uses his Fox News pulpit to denounce COLT Studio, San Francisco and gays in general. Plus, news on the shocking death of bodybuilder and ex-performer Brett Mycles as well as the tragic loss of newcomer Lynden Thomas. You know what? I’d like to have a word with whomever’s currently in charge of these things on The Other Side: Enough already.

O’REILLY VS. COLT
Conservative commentator Bill O’Reilly used his “O’Reilly Factor” Fox News program on February 28 to harshly criticize San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom for declaring February 23 as “COLT Studio Day” in honor of the company’s 40th anniversary. That was also the night of the studio’s big 40th anniversary party.
