I remember you Ben as Ben,not as Kent.I am saddened ,however not that surprised.

I just found this weekend 26/4/08 that kent north is no longer with us.I was chatting to a mate in london’ soho when i found out. I was telling my mate of this amazing man i met and that I was able to be close to. This was 6 years ago before he became kent north.I admired him and wow, what a great mind and body he had.
I was deeply saddened to hear that this beautiful man left us. I then came home and looked on the net, just to make sure it wasn’t a big mistake and there i learnt he actually passed away on my birthday 4th july. I was pround to have met him and hope he rests now. take care Kent North your always be Tim to me. x

I’ve never met Kent. I am only a fan of his work and was utterly shocked when I read the news. From all that I have read I can see that he was a beautiful person and will be missed. He got me hooked on him right away. That smile and those eyes were just so dazzling. My thoughts are with his family and friends and his lover Lloyd xx

I met Kent a few times in London before “Kent” was even thought of. Hearing this news, now 5 years on, and in New York, has been a real shock. My sympathies go out to his partner and family. Rest in Peace Ben.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kent North at this years IML. He was so warm, kind, and very genuine. He took time to chat with my friends and I. He made sure we got all the pictures and autographs we wanted. His warmth and smile instantly put us at ease like we were old friends. I’m greatful I had the pleasure of meeting him. In just a few brief moments he made an impression on me. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. He will be missed.

I am absolutely distraught that such a great guy who had everything going for him including a beautiful loving relationship should come to such a tragic end. I was gym buddies in London with both Kent (Ben) and Lloyd and actually had a long chat with them both the day before this awful event. What makes it worse for me was that they both seemed happier than ever after just having a weeks holiday in the countryside and Ben was talking enthusiastically about his non Porn work in London – So i just can’t begin to understand what happened next.
Ben was the kindest guy i have met in the adult industry – a true gent – and he was selflessly helping me with contact in the Porn industry for which i am eternally .
My thoughts are with Lloyd and Ben’s family – He will live on through his films – What a great guy and a sickening loss to us all.

I thought great things of kent, he was always in the best spirits and with a smile on his face he was my scene partner in 2 movies and he always made the set fun and made you smile even when you were beat tired… he will be missed and much love and respect to his partner and family and friends…. I think I am still numb from the shock of hearing this news. I guess when we are in our 20’s and 30’s we feel we are invincible, that death doesn’t happen to “us”. As a fan of Kent I was simply awestruck by him; his charm and wittiness, his smile, his good looks, his sincerity and gentlemanly ways. Kent’s sexual desires made me realize that normal, sane and healthy gay men can and do enjoy all forms of assplay/leather sex and that it is ok and not shameful. Being able to identify with someone like him changed my life. I am forever grateful that Kent played a big role in helping me accept who I am as a sexual human being. My condolences to Lloyd, his family and friends and everyone at Hot House.

I am a close personal friend of Kent and his partner Lloyd, here in London and I would just like to clarify that despite initial rumours of his deliberate suicide, it is becoming more apparent that this was just a terrible accident. We are all totally devastated. Lloyd has been in contact with the police and the coroner to get all the facts as they become available. In respect for Lloyd and Kent’s family and friends here in the UK and around the world I cannot go into details. I’m sure in time Lloyd will provide all the relevant details to Steven at Hothouse who will pass it on to his fans. Kent was a blinding light of goodness. love and compassion in a world of cynical mean-spirited people. My heart is broken at his loss and we are doing what we can to continue the work he was doing here in his other non-porn related projects. His love will always live on in everyone who met him and enjoyed his wonderful smile and warmth of heart.
