INDUSTRY UPDATE: Bjorn’s “El Rancho” & Condomless Sex

NYDN logoNew York Daily News gossipmeister Ben Widdicombe’s "Gatecrasher" column today has a tiny, but nevertheless juicy, blind item titled "Don’t Shoot the Messenger" which cryptically asks: "Which adult video star is bragging he has pix of a certain hip-hop big [sic] asleep in bed after a tryst?" Given the column is New York-centric, think along those lines, rather than a West Coaster.

(And lemme tell you, we could fill a month’s worth of columns just talking about the many, many closeted R&B and rap celebs who secretly cat around with gay porn stars and/or male escorts.)

BREAKING NEWS: WeHo Club Micky’s Catches Fire

UPDATE: 11:15pm: Local news is reporting the fire at Micky’s is fully contained. One person was rescued from the building and is being treated for his injuries. The top floor and roof of Micky’s was gutted by the blaze, while the bottom floor sustained heavy smoke and fire damage.

West Hollywood, Calif. — A large fire broke out late Tuesday afternoon at West Hollywood landmark Micky’s nightclub. The fire is still burning (as of 6pm PST) and at last count had drawn 7-9 fire trucks and several dozen fire fighters. One person was rescued from a second-floor office and treated for their injuries. Micky’s has been the location for dozens of gay adult biz parties over the years, including the popular weekly "Cocktails with the Stars" meet-and-greet. Stay tuned for new developments.

INDUSTRY UPDATE: Miami Orders CocoDorm to Close

Miami has ordered CocoDorm.com to shut its doors. The Miami Herald reports this week that following 10 hours of arguments on August 13, Miami’s Code Enforcement Board has ruled that CocoDorm and Flava Works owner Phillip Bleicher is "illegally running an adult entertainment business out of a single-family home," noting that the residence is zoned only for residential use, "and ordered that those operations cease."

The article begins, "(t)he residents of Northeast 27th Street in Edgewater may not have neighbors like Pretty Ricky, Jerzey Flyrt and Nick Da Kannon much longer." A charge that Flava Works was operating "an illegal rooming house" was dismissed.

AMG Brasil and director Dennis Bell have turned in a sizzling series of pics filmed, natch, in Brazil and environs. The SURUBA (Portuguese for "orgy" or "excessiveness") is especially boner-inducing. That’s the lickable Junior Ronaldo on the DVD of SURUBA: PIROCA, one of the stars to emerge from the thriving South American porn scene ("piroca" being Portuguese for "penis").
