[Post fixed 11:40pm] * From the Dept. of Self-Promotion: Studio 2000 has announced the launch of S2K Fan Club, their rebuilt-from-the-ground up membership site. Among the highlights, new content uploaded every single day of the year. Plus, you get a free DVD every month if you sign up at the Premium level. Nice co-mingling of traditional and new-frontier media, eh? The site only recently went live and already JustUsBoys.com has taken notice and given the website a five-star review. (Full disclosure: I am S2K’s production manager, yadda yadda, but was not involved in the website’s development.)
* Some weeks back we asked for reader feedback on the performers they think should definitely be included in the upcoming 2008 Adam Gay Video Directory. Following are some of the most popular suggestions. Did we leave anyone out? There’s still a bit more time to chime in with your ideas! Our Constant Readers suggested: Dillon Buck, Adam Champ, Mario Cruz, Steve Cruz, Fred Faurtin, Huessein, C.J. Knight, Ty LeBeouf, Dominic Pacifico, Nickolay Petrov, Max Schutler, Diesel Washington and Xerxes.
* Porn mogul Michael Lucas is making news once again. The director/star was a photo’ed presence at the Marc Jacobs runway show during the just-concluded Fashion Week and was quoted by the Grey Lady herself, The New York Times, in their write-up of the event. Meanwhile, Lucas Entertainment has announced production of GIGOLO to shoot very soon with a release set for year’s end, they’re flacking THE INTERN and CRUISING BUDAPEST III: LUCIO MAVERICK is also on the menu with the matinee-idol-gorgeous Mr. Maverick’s first-ever on-screen bottoming role. First let me say thank you to the readers of this blog who suggested me. I’m so grateful! MUCH LOVE TO YOU!
I don’t know if porn stars can chime in on this topic BUT I don’t see hunks like Vinnie D’Angelo, Dirk Jager or Trey Casteel on the list.
They are all amazing performers… and since I have had them all- you can take my word for it! They deserve to be on the list.
Since it’s a “directory”, shouldn’t they ALL be in it? Is is some kind of bestowed honor to be in a directory?

Mark: There isn’t room for everyone to be included, unfortunately. Some guys always get squeezed out. This year I simply decided to gauge reader interest, ahead of time, to find out which guys they’re hooked on right now. Also, everyone in GayPornLand uses the AGVD to figure out which models are currently working and to help with casting. So it can be a big career boost in that respect.
