GAYVN Awards Show Info

Last year’s GAYVN Awards nominations were announced January 11, so we can probably expect to hear about this year’s roster sometime this week. Stay tuned for details. In the meantime, here’s the relevant show info: The 10th Annual GAYVN Awards unspool Saturday, February 16 at the Giftcenter Pavilion (888 Brannan Street, 91403) in San Francisco. That date is the weekend before the Oscars; I’m glad the show organizers realized the folly of scheduling, as they did last year, a gay porn awards show the day before the Homo High Holy Day. (Kathy Griffin is not returning, apparently, as host this year. GAYVN has not announced who will take on those duties.) An industry-only cocktail party is scheduled for 5pm and the show begins at 7pm. Bear in mind this important piece of info: Parking at and around the Giftcenter is so limited as to be nonexistent. Plan accordingly.
