Jason Ridge, Danny Vox F*ck for Harlow Cuadra Defense Fund
January 9, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Performer-turned-mogul Jason Ridge has again come to the aid of Harlow Cuadra, the performer-entrepreneur who stands accused (together with Joseph Kerekes) of murdering Cobra Video‘s Bryan Kocis a year ago this month. In a blog post titled, “For a Cause and Effect” Mr. Ridge announced that he and popular cub Danny Vox (back from retirement) paired for a duo that is now available at BoyBatter.com, and that all proceeds from that scene will be donated directly to Mr. Cuadra’s defense fund. Jason Ridge was among the first to take up the cause for Mr. Cuadra (remember those “Free Harlow Cuadra” T-shirts?). What do you think? Noble or misguided? Click here for more details…
“I felt compelled to do this because as a fellow performer in the business we have to look out for one another. Harlow deserves a fair trial and he is desperately in need of money,” Mr. Ridge writes. “As an American everyone deserves a fair trial; unfortunately that means you need a lot of money. This is just my way of trying to help and once again innocent until proven guilty.” (Harlow Cuadra is the co-proprietor of Boy Batter with Mr. Kerekes.)
A bit of background: Back on June 29, Mr. Ridge blogged about his advocacy for Mr. Cuadra (“Walk a Mile in His Shoes”). “I’m about to get political for just a little bit. As you know a murder took place in the adult film industry… I’m talking about the murder of Bryan Kocis former owner of Cobra Video,” he wrote. “I’m on a campaign along with a few other people to help the accused Harlow Cuadra fight this unjust accusation towards him. We are making a defense fund to help him get an attorney to fight this all the way through. I’m just not buying all of this. I believe that someone else caused the death of Kocis and this person happens to be in the adult film industry and it is all a set up. I’m just going on a gut feeling and hearing from Harlow from prison…”
Jason Ridge’s recently launched Ridgeline Films has A RISING STAR currently in release. Danny Vox announced his retirement from the skin trade in 2004, then turned up in THE CHEST for Titan Media in 2006 and has now apparently returned to the biz: He’s part of the cast of Ridgeline’s second film, BEYOND MALIBU.

A cheap (and tasteless, in view of the certain guilt of Harlow to this crime) publicity stunt.
No, I’m not misguided! I’m just standing up for what I believe to be false accusations towards two people who if had any part in his murder had help from a certain porn performer who had the only thing to gain from his murder. I’m not getting any money for this scene or the others that will soon follow. After talking with Harlow I’m more determined to make it right for him and Joseph.
J-
Jealosy is SUCH an ugly thing:

Pornstars: Beautiful, but not that bright.
While this event seems to have been spinned into a positive thing, Jason’s comments that “he doesn’t buy any of all this” are ridiculous. So you think that the extensive investigation into the murder is all moot, and there is absolutely no evidence Harlow was involved, but they’re still holding him in a cell and trying him for the murder anyway? Are you kidding?? Jody seems to be right on: Beautiful, but not that bright.
you can’t go on ‘gut feeling’ in matters as serious as this and he should have been more careful and less public about it.
publicity stunt for Ridgeline Films. A very cheap one at that. The amount of money “donated” by Jason Ridge & co. will be very interesting to see.
First, The Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas assigned the victim’s lawyer to represent the guy accused of killing the victim.
Now, The Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas has apparently allowed Bryan Kocis’ Estate to serve a civil wrongful death suit on Harlow Law makes Cuadra and Kerekes immune to the service of civil process as extradited person while their criminal cases are pending.
No matter how some people try to get around REALITY, the prosecutions of Cuadra and Kerekes are so fucked-up at this point, they can’t be saved. So, that probably means NEW DEFENDANTS and a new motive.
Harlow is not now, nor ever was, represented by the victim’s actual attorney.
If those civil suit papers have been served, the service is probably defective; I’m sure the Kocis family and their attorney appreciates you bringing this defect to their attention.
Thanks to you, I am sure they will be correctly served with papers following their conviction.
