GAYVN Noms: Jesse Santana, Steve Cruz Lead Individual Noms

Jet Set exclusive Jesse Santana whomps his competition with eight individual citations (that might be a record, still checking) for the 10th Annual GAYVN Awards, followed closely by Raging Stallion exclusive Steve Cruz with seven nods. Mr. Santana is part of three (!) Best Group Scene nods (for BARN STORM, BOTTOM OF THE 9TH, JET SET FRATERNITY GANG BANG 2), Best Sex Scene (JIM STEEL’S BEACH HOUSE DIARIES, shared with Barrett Long), Best Threesome (JUST ADD WATER), Best Supporting Actor for ON FIRE!, plus the prestigious Best Newcomer and Performer of the Year categories. Mr. Cruz, who was just named Raging Stallion’s Man of the Year for 2008, is cited for Best Group Scene (LINK V: THE EVOLUTION) and Best Threesome (COMMUNION), and turns up for three separate scenes in MIRAGE; Best Group Scene, Oral Scene and Sex Scene (shared with Huessein). Like Mr. Santana, he’s also up for Best Newcomer and Performer of the Year.

Why oh why is this all WHITE???? Where is the LATINOS AND BLACKS? Why not a few categories for ETHNIC? WTF is going on here? Its 2008 and the GAY world is DISCRIMINATING agaiants the ethnics? Where if Flavaworks, Latino Fan Club, Big City Video and the many many others?

I just got back from Hustlaball and I can only say that from what I saw Jesse Santana do to the stage there definitely cemented in my mind why I’ve been so fond of his work. He deserves to reap awards this year. Go Jesse!
