   Why has nothing been said about the barebacking in 8 1/2? Will Chi Chi be boycotting the GAYVNs because of this?

   I think the GAYVNs should immediately revoke the noms for 8 1/2. Not only was there barebacking, but you could also see the crew’s shadows continually moving across the action. This was not only a disturbing choice, it was puzzling as well.

   It should be replaced in the All-Sex category with Playback from Raging Stallion. This was a perfect little gem of a movie that was completely overlooked. The direction, videography, and editing were absolutely perfect throughout, and the sex sizzled (especially the duo with Deckard and Delaine and Barrett Long’s solo). In fact, those two scenes should have been nominated as well.

   Ben Leon’s framing in every scene included an exceptional amount of erotic detail. And if you’re not watching Raging Stallion’s videos with a High Def video player, you’re missing out on the highest quality porn out there today.

   Playback not only deserved multiple nominations, it deserves a win in Best All-Sex.

   Why would someone who does NOT exist be NOMINATED? Jaline Fuentues is not a real person, He/it is someone that pitbull puts on their box covers. Why would GAYVN NOMINATE people that are NOT real?????

   Regarding 8 1/2, Chi Chi LaRue and barebacking — who cares about these endless invocations of “gotchas.” Sounds to me like you just happened to see 8 1/2, and did not like it. Fair enough. Another GayVN nominated movie that includes barebacking was Sarava Productions’ El Rancho.

   El Rancho, by the way, is Kristen Bjorn’s best release in several years. I enjoyed it more than Rocks and Hard Places, which actually received more nominations.

   I’m glad to see that El Rancho was not ignored just because of its non-condom content. It is a very strong film across the board.

   el rancho was disappointing. The men are still hot-looking latinos (hurray indeed) but the chemistry is often lacking, often the same sex scenes, artificial sound, articifial body contact, hardly any kissing etcetc BUT there’s indeed one scene which belongs to the best he made and that’s the one between these two bb boyfriends on the cover. That’s hot, but one swallow doesn’t make a summer.
