Last Monday in our “Stripped Bare” piece we talked about mogul Michael Lucas selling off a ton of his clothes on eBay, with the proceeds to be funneled back into the Lucas Entertainment costume fund. The gay blogosphere took note, as they do whenever Mr. Lucas turns left instead of right onto Broadway, and a controversy sparked up when Mr. Lucas accused gossip site Queerty.com of anti-Semitism, prompted by remarks he found offensive in the comments section to Queerty’s story about his eBay sample sale. Gossip aside, if you wanted to get into Mr. Lucas’ pants (or shoes, or shirts) you still have time. The most expensive item is a $1000K Roberto Cavalli leather/fur jacket; almost everything else is between $10-$100. Click here for the eBay link. Here is the original Queerty story (“Michael Lucas Whores Self, Stuff“) followed by Queerty’s rejoinder (“Does Michael Lucas Have a Job?“), which includes the full text of Mr. Lucas’ complaint. I would agree if the proceeds went to charity, but not to his own company.

Listen his company has to pay for expenses as well and can need any possible financial income, so he’s quite entitled to use the proceeds for his company, if only to make better films because his last bunch of movies are for 80% (if not more) disappointing
