“Page Six” Links Erik Rhodes to Marc Jacobs

Poor Erik Rhodes just can’t catch a break in the romance department. We wrote recently about his acrimonious breakup with Danny Dias (an MTV reality star), and now Page Six is claiming (“Designer has a Guy on the Side“) that he’s having an affair with designer Marc Jacobs, which is allegedly the reason Jacobs is on the outs with his boyfriend, Jason Preston. “Marc Jacobs kicked off Fashion Week with a documentary on the behind-the-scenes life of a designer√¢‚Ǩ‚Äùalthough many viewers would have likely been more interested in the secret tryst he’s been having with a porn star,” they wrote over the weekend. “Jacobs has been quietly seeing adult film actor Erik Rhodes and whisking him away to secret locations… Sources said Jacobs’ affair with Rhodes…began last year when the designer invited Rhodes to join him and Preston for a three-way. Jacobs allegedly continued the fling with Rhodes one on one after that. ‘Jason thought he and Marc were exclusive again,’ said our insider. ‘But Marc is sleeping with this porn star behind his back, and sneaking him to Paris for hot sex.’ ” Mr. Jacobs told the gossip sheet that Mr. Rhodes is “a really nice guy and we are just friends,” while the latter appears to shoot down the notion of an ongoing tryst on his blog. He snarked on Sunday, “thanks for running the story without having any [credible] information. This is just one of those instances where you can’t believe everything that you read.” He laughs that this story has become the talk of the blogosphere for six or seven seconds and chalks it up to “a slow week. Where is crazy Britney when you need her?” As it is Fashion Week in the Big Apple, Mr. Rhodes envisions “an even better story when I show up for [Jacobs'] show this Friday… Jason Preston and I will just have to get into a catfight while Marc’s fall collection comes down the runway.”

Publicity is publicity, right? What other gay porno stars are getting written up in Page Six apart from Michael Lucas? Expect some item about him this week to compensate…
Good for Erik for laughing about it and just taking it in stride. It’s not worth spinning off into depression or complaining.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Erik Rhodes is a fucking hot sonofabitch. Period. That ass, that jaw, that dick. Proof that god is gay.
As for Marc Jacobs, whatever. He’s obsessed with himself to an annoying degree ever since he saw the light and got clean. Good for him for that, but now he won’t stop taking off his clothes for photo shoots and showing us all his inner workings. Enough! Keep a few secrets for yourself already.
