Kocis Murder Trial: 385 Witnesses Could Rebut Kerekes Alibi

Last week I penned an update on the pending murder trial of Joseph Kerekes and Harlow Cuadra, who stand accused of murdering Cobra Video‘s Bryan Kocis in January, 2007. Among the items was a pre-trial motion indicating a potential alibi defense, including five witnesses, for Mr. Kerekes that could put him in a hotel room at the time of the Kocis murder. Flash forward a few days: This past Monday, Luzerne County (Pennsylvania) district attorneys filed paperwork claiming 385 potential witnesses to rebut Mr. Kerekes’ alibi. (Yes, that’s “385.”) Per a newspaper report, the list of potential witnesses includes firefighters, reporters and police officers. A pre-trial conference with Luzerne County Judge Peter Paul Olszewski Jr. is planned for next Wednesday, February 20. [Sources: 02/11/08, The Times Leader and The Citizen's Voice.]

385 witnesses??? Talk about black comedy.
The real comedy is that Luzerne County has no way of proving WHEN Bryan Kocis was Killed.
In our opinion, The alleged “alibi defense” from Joseph Kerekes was just a ploy to get Prosecutors to commit to a specific date and time for Bryan Kocis’s death and a specific ”
theory of the crime”. Clearly the ploy worked,
Prosecutors have no idea when Bryan Kocis was killed, unless you buy that reporters for the Rolling Stone and The Boston Globe were prsent when Kocis was kille. Yes, Bryan Kocis’ body was found in his burning house on 1/24/07, however, the former Luzerne County Coroner is on record saying that the didn’t know when Kocis was killed.
When Prosecutors first claimed that they had 385 witnesses, I thought for a minute that they planned to call all of the attendees at the GAYVN Expo in Las Vegas in 2007 per the ole “Weekend at Bryan’s” conspiracy theory.
The Weekend at Bryan’s conspiracy theory has Bryan Kocis dead on the weekend before his body was found and the killer/killers partying in Bryan Kocis’ house – and shooting gay videos in his basement – until Wednesday when the killers set Kocis’ house on fire and fled.
Peter PA knows absoulutly Bryan Kocis was in his house alive on the couch chatting with Harlow at 7:50 p.m on Wednsday Jan 24. 3 possibly four witnesses will coroborate at trial.
We know when the fire was reported and its safe to assume Kocis was dead then (8:34p.m.)
Actually we do have a time of death based on Harlows Blacks Beach “confessions”
He said a final phone call came in and thats when “it got crazy and Harlows dude came around” You can be sure the PA DA knows when that call came in so based on Harlows statement they have a time of death.
You Camp Corrigan Guys just don’t get it,
“Weekend at Bryan’s” is a far more marketable movie than a story about some no name child molester getting chopped up while sitting on his fucking sofa in fucking Luzerne County PA.
This is why Brent Corrigan will never amount to shit, he’s surrounded by people with no vision.

Not only does Harlow have this 385 prosecution witnesses problem, but it turns out his new attorney will probably be disqualified due to serious conflict of interest charges; and on top of that, there is a scandal a-brewing where certain Harlow supporters illegally arranged 3-way jail phone calls between themselves, Harlow and Joe.
Rumor has it these calls may very well have been recorded by prison authorities.
Peter I agree Weekend at Bryans is a great idea for a Horror Porn film I guess I missed the satirical undertone!
