Bruce Penis Haunts “Human Giant”

I’m a touch behind the curve on this one, but the Human Giant sketch show on MTV recently ran a clip about the death, in a mysterious car accident, of Bruce Penis, “the greatest gay porn star who ever lived.” Rob Huebel plays Mr. Penis, whose ghost haunts Aziz Ansari and compels him to unravel the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death. When I first heard about the sketch, I rolled my eyes; last thing I need is more straight-guy gay panic (the Wayans brothers provide enough for everyone). Crime Blotter: Arrest Warrant Issued for Porn Model

Crime Blotter Update: An arrest warrant was issued on March 17 in Spokane, Washington for Cody Castagna, 26, when he didn’t turn up in court for a hearing. He is “charged with theft and extortion in the circumstances surrounding former State Representative Richard Curtis, 48, on October 26, 2007,” per a published report. Adult film fans will recognize him as “Cody” from Gae Boy Video’s SEATTLE FRAT BOYZ and A SEATTLE WET SUMMER, as well as Treasure Island Media’s DAMON BLOWS AMERICA 3. Mr. Curtis, a Republican, shattered his political career when admitted to police he had sex with Mr. Castagna; a police report further alleges he had “donned red stockings at the Hollywood Erotic Boutique before a sexual rendezvous with Castagna at the Davenport Tower, Spokane’s finest hotel.” Curtis further claims Castagna stole his wallet following their tryst and later demanded a $1000 blackmail payment; however, Castagna contends Curtis offered him the $1000 for unprotected sex and the wallet had been given to him as collateral. Curtis resigned from office October 31. Three other men, including Castagna’s brother, “have been charged with second-degree extortion and conspiracy” for their roles. Police believe this is not the first time the group engaged in these activities, and are searching for other potential victims. Click here and here for our previous stories. Crime Blotter: Tommy Saxx Gets Two Years in the Clink

Crime Blotter Update: Dandy David Wiles, 29, of Dallas, was sentenced earlier this month to two years in prison and fined $8000 “for buying electronic items with a credit card he had stolen from a dead man,” per one newspaper report. Mr. Wiles is known to gay porn fans as Tommy Saxx. (Click here for our initial report on his arrest last summer.) A “teary eyed” Mr. Wiles pleaded guilty on March 13 and was immediately taken into custody. He had been a hospital worker at the Baylor Medical Center when he stole the credit card and other identification from Assistant Police Chief Don Armstrong, who had died from a heart attack. Wiles purchased a $2500 computer and a $1500 television; he was later identified from store surveillance videos when the late Mr. Armstrong’s wife received a credit card bill for the items and alerted police. As Tommy Saxx, he appeared in roughly 20 films between 1998 and 2002. He is being held in the Hutchins State Jail with a projected release of March 11, 2010, and is not eligible for parole. “Dirty Tricks” Goes Live with “Big Brother” Star

[Edits 7:38pm.] Last month we revealed the news that current Big Brother house-mate “Crazy” James Zinkland (he’s up for eviction this week…oh, no! hooray, he won the Power of Veto!) had a gay porn past. Our two stories (click here and here) are among the most heavily trafficked stories on this site, even over a month later. At first it appeared that he’d merely wanked his sizable appendage solo. But, nope, it turned out he was also a cast member of the “East Village-based online-only gay soap opera DIRTY TRICKS” co-produced by Dirty Boy Video and NakedSword.com. Per my colleagues at TheSword.com, episode one has now gone live, so check it out here! (You can also catch the non-hardcore trailer featuring the catchy theme song. How much porn do you watch that has a theme song, much less one that is actually good? This means it will lose the GAYVN Award next year.) The last gay porn soap was Jet Set’s seriously campy WET PALMS; DIRTY TRICKS is also going for humor, but it was shot with a raggedy edge, which I find oddly endearing. (Yup, that’s Damon DeMarco among the cast; ex-boyfriend Hunter James also turns up.)

Crime Blotter Update: Bryan Kocis Murder Trial

Crime Blotter Update: There has been some activity in the Bryan Kocis murder case, for which accused co-defendants Harlow Cuadra, 26, and Joseph Kerekes, 34, are set to stand trial. Last week, presiding judge Peter Paul Olszewski Jr. disqualified attorney Demetrius Fannick from defending Mr. Cuadra due to “an existing or potential” conflict of interest involving Mr. Kerekes. Mr. Fannick met with Kerekes “at least eight times” before being retained to defend Cuadra on January 28. Both men waived any potential conflict of interest, and Mr. Kerekes testified that “only fees were discussed” during his meetings with Fannick. Nevertheless, he was disqualified by Judge Olszewski. Paul Galante, Stephen Menn and Michael Senape will stay on (as of this week, anyway) as Cuadra’s co-counsel; Fannick and Cuadra are currently undecided about an appeal, which likely would not receive a ruling prior to the trial. Bryan Kocis was the owner of Cobra Video, which he operated out of his home in Dallas Township, Pennsylvania. He was stabbed and killed in January 2007 and his house set on fire. Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes were arrested shortly thereafter and accused of the murder and arson because, prosecutors contend, they had tried to lure Cobra Video’s top performer, Brent Corrigan, to work with their own adult businesses. Gimme, Gimme: “The Big Penis Book”

Those wily scamps at Taschen are mining gold with The Big Penis Book (I’ve already pre-ordered seven copies), a collection of lush photos of baskets of puppies. Edited by Dian Hanson, this follows their successful The Big Book of Breasts. Apart from the obvious appeal to our Constant Readers, the photographers whose work is showcased include Bob Mizer and David Hurles, of Athletic Model Guild and Old Reliable, respectively, plus pics from the COLT Studio and Falcon Studios archives, as well as the legendary John Holmes and featured snaps from such oldies-but-goodies as Champion Studios (male physique photography from the 1950s-’60s) and Sierra Domino (wonderful black male photography from the 1970s-’80s by Craig Calvin Anderson). Falcon Snags “Club Kid” Tony Capucci

Well, shit, the press releases are flying tonight. Falcon Studios has just announced they’ve signed Italian Stallion Tony Capucci (repped by David Forest Entertainment) to an exclusive contract. “Tony has gone from a…private Christian school in Brooklyn, to losing his virginity at 18, to a South Beach Miami club kid at 21, to turning into a porn performer…at age 24,” boasts the press release. Ah, yes, some things never change… We can thank Johnny Castle for discovering and grooming Mr. Capucci, who has performed online for amateur sites CockyBoys (there they are again), JakeCruise and RandyBlue. He recently wrapped his first vignette for Falcon opposite Erik Rhodes in AFTERPARTY, which streets June 23. Falcon Isn’t Going Bareback (Really)

[Edits, 03/27/08.] The other day we posted a sexy snap of newbie Dylan Saunders (which you folks loved) from Falcon Studios’ FLEET WEEK (scroll down or click here). Dept. of WEHT: Musclestud Mark Slade

One of the pleasures of this job is hearing from performers who have left the spotlight, but one day decide to Google themselves or whatever and come across our “Dept. of WEHT” feature, then decide to track me down and check in. Lately it’s been blond wall-of-muscle Mark Slade, whose last appearance in gay flicks were Blue Blake’s MUSCLEMEN MOVING CO. 2 and TEACHER’S PET for HIS Video. Mr. Slade is living in San Diego and working out hard, he tells me, for a bodybuilding competition in July. He’s contemplating a comeback to porn but hasn’t made up his mind just yet. Although his last gay flicks were shot almost two years ago, a handful of bi and straight flicks he banked have trickled down the pipeline; Constant Readers will recall Mr. Slade is among a handful of straight-porn performers who defected to the gay side of the street; he crossed The Great Divide about ten year ago (!) now after cranking out some 80-100 films since 1994 or so. Mr. Slade took a lot of heat for it, which he says persists to this day. He’s aware of guys like Maxx Diesel/Christian XX (they could be brothers, right?), but Mr. Diesel doesn’t work the gay side anymore. Well, at least the Gays tend to be more accommodating about this sort of thing.

Bits & Bobs: Bel Ami, Titan Media, Ridgeline, Collin O’Neal

It’s kind of a slow week here in GayPornLand. Casting about, scroll down a few stories (or click here) for our bit about Elite Male signing the Visconti Triplets to a two-year exclusive contract; quite a coup for the company, but when I first spied their pics, the studlets looked familiar. This morning I confirmed with Bel Ami that they are the same set of siblings I wrote about here. In other company news, pictured at left is their new exclusive Dolph Lambert, whose fresh countenance caused such a stir when we ran it a month or two ago. We’ll have more bits on that one next week… Elsewhere, director/star Collin O’Neal heads to EAST BERLIN for the latest in his WORLD OF MEN series… The second film from star-turned-mogul Jason Ridge’s nascent Ridgeline Films is BEYOND MALIBU, which should be available any second if it isn’t already. Mr. Ridge and hung ginger Blu Kennedy are “two surfers determined to out-do each other in the sex department during one hot summer,” with furry cub Danny Vox, a fan fave whose retirement a couple years back thankfully did not take, among the cast… Titan Media is causing a stir with their new TELESCOPE 1-2 from director Brian Mills, particularly for a scene in which robo-bottom Steven Ponce has the shit pounded out of him by Diesel Washington, whose cock is nearly as long as Mr. Ponce himself (he’s the ingénue, you’ll recall, who last year bravely took on Ben Andrews, Johnny Hanson and Chad Hunt in Lucas Entertainment’s THE BIGGER, THE BETTER)… [Image © Bel Ami.]
