Happy Together: COLT & Carlo & Adam
April 3, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Reunited at last… COLT Studio announced this evening that bodybuilder-boyfriends Adam Champ and Carlo Masi, following a brief three-month divorce, are COLT Men once again with the “renewal of a multi-year partnership” covering films, branded websites and other goodies. All the way back in January, Messrs. Champ and Masi surprised the biz (including COLT’s John Rutherford) when they publicly announced they’d parted ways with the venerable studio. (Click here and here for our coverage.) Well, that’s all water under the bridge. Per the press release, Carlo Masi is now a “COLT Man Emeritus” in recognition of “his continued contribution to the COLT brand,” as well as his history with the company going back to 2004′s BIG ‘N PLENTY. “We’re very happy to have Carlo and Adam back in the COLT saddle, so to speak,” Mr. Rutherford says in a statement released to Gay Porn Times. “We look forward to Adam’s next feature MASSIVE being released next month [and] Carlo’s Genuine-Cast Supercock being introduced this summer! The both of them are starting out of the gate with live-cam performances this weekend. The lights didn’t even flicker!” (Oh, and by the way, Messrs. Champ and Masi are the coverstuds of the 2008 Adam Gay Video Directory, ya know…) [Image √Ǭ© COLT Studio.]

With the best of intentions, I’m sure, Colt is insulting poor Mr. Masi with that title. Emeritus is conferred on somebody when they retire but retain an honorary standing with a company. I can’t think of the title they were going for, but they should change this and soon.
On the other hand, maybe it’s an inside joke? I’m sick of pranks.
who cares, they overstayed their welcome….
oh please… can’t we all just be friends? i love colt and i have grown to adore both carlo and adam… i for one love their live cam appearances and if they ever get down under i’d pay my month’s salary to spend some time with the both of them! i say yay!
Money still talk$$$$$$……..
Will, you’re right, that “Colt Man Emeritus” has to be an inside joke. But it is amusing to observe that no one seems to realize how they’ve characterized poor Carlo as an “old” man now. I wonder if this wasn’t supposed to be their version of a “Falcon Lifetime Exclusive”?
Exactly Colt Man Emeritus is the Falcon version Life time exclusive
