UPDATED: Falcon CEO Todd Montgomery is Out

[Update: 05/23/08, 1:00 pm.] Gay Porn Times confirmed today that Falcon Entertainment President and CEO Todd Montgomery has left the studio. Mr. Montgomery was named Falcon’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in late 2003. He formed 3Media Corporation in 2004 with partners Steve Johnson and the late Terry Mahaffey and purchased Conwest Resources, parent company of Falcon Studios, from the Charles M. Holmes Foundation. Mr. Mahaffey passed from cancer in October 2005, whereupon Mr. Montgomery took over as President. That position will not be filled right away. Mr. Johnson is now sole owner and will oversee day-to-day operations, together with Director of Production Adam Q. Robinson, and Troy Prickett, Director of Promotions & Production. “Todd and Steve agreed to disagree on some key issues and decided to part ways,” Mr. Prickett told me. “We wish him well. Otherwise, it’s just business as usual here at Falcon.” UPDATE: A Falcon rep provided an expanded statement this afternoon, May 23, about the departure of Mr. Montgomery and the studio’s future plans. Here it is: “We will be moving forward with a very positive outlook and plan on staying focused and passionate about the work we are all doing. We are all well-equipped with survival instincts here and have shifted into ‘a new day, a new beginning’ mode. Falcon will flourish thanks to an incredibly dedicated, driven and passionate team of individuals who after five years of working together all have one goal in mind√¢‚Ǩ‚Äùsuccess. Falcon Studios is evaluating the need for a new President and will make a decision in the near future. No kidding, they’re not filling Todd Montgomery’s position. That’s an expensive contract they don’t have to pay out anymore.
Sad to say, but I don’t think this surprises anybody.

Rumors are that he got caught shitting where he eats, so to speak. He was a well known druggy at industry events, as well as a limo renting whore - speaking of whore, he bought a lot of them from our good friend David Forest. I’m sure Falcon is just cleaning house. It is sad to see the fall of Falcon - it seems to be taking a lot longer than the fall of Catalina, but history does repeat itself. We should all learn from the past.

Seems to be a number of Damon Kruezer impersonators on this board. The real one always gives his email and website URL.
Given how influential he is now I guess its understandable people want to appear to be him.
Word is Kruezer was involved somehow in what happened and that he and Montgomery may have plans. The word “co venture” is being heard a lot in industry circles according to those in the know.
There was ONE “precipitating event” with Falcon according to Kruezer’s webchat tonight. He looks really good, smiling broadly and with Marc by his side. He said he’s held back on the intel TO “give enough time for the entire scenario to play out”.
Now I wonder what the three of them might do together with the venture capital reportedly rolling in to Kruezer?

Falcon Studios had been going downhill ever since they phased out the mail order versions of their classic movies in favor of their retail ones.Nothing kills a moment when a box appears covering up the “fisting” or controversial scene.Lets hope that the missing footage is restored to keep the Falcon legacy alive.

When the real Kruezer does post, its usually something meaningful and to the point, and always with his email and URL.
Considering that Kruezer has gotten the 3 biggest exclusive interviews of the past 6 months and almost singlehandedly resurrected the career of Brodie Sinclair, what you say sounds like sour grapes to me.
And don’t you love how Kruezer was first once again with that exciting new star the Scott kid? Now even Mark Adams is following his lead about that. Did you EVER see the Scott guy mentioned before Kruezer interviewed him? Of course you didn’t.
So how can Mark Adams put Kruezer down when he so obviously follows his lead time after time?

Kruezer is a major force to be reckoned with as even his detractors admit by their obsession with him — which is a form of twisted fandom when you think about it.

And I think he’s TOTALLY onto something with what he says about the Kocis trial, the Washington connection and Brent Corrigan today.
