I never thought I’d see that happening at one of the Big award shows. What happened that Bel Ami doesn’t win this automatically? (Not that I complain.) “Oliver Twink” winning is gratifying, too.

DeWayne, you wondered why there was no award for Logan McCree. The Grabbys usually nominate people in the Best Newcomer category if they’ve been in at least a couple of videos during the calendar year. That way there is a chance to compare their performances to see if they are really deserving of a nom.

Interestingly, Logan told me at the awards show that he doesn’t foresee himself getting nominated in the future, or even lasting very long in the industry. He seems to believe that his look places him in a sort of ‘specialty’ category, and that interest in him will not last.

Personally, I find that hard to believe. He is a truly beautiful man, and has such a positive energy around him. I think he’ll be able to go as far as he wishes. Remember, not too long ago people wondered about Francois Sagat’s appeal.
