Good ol’ Matt Sanchez√¢‚Ǩ‚Äùwe all know his contentious history with GayPornLand, right? (click here and here)√¢‚Ǩ‚Äùis stirring the pot today with an editorial on the conservative website WorldNetDaily about Sen. Barack Obama‘s “gay problem.” He opines about the recent California Supreme Court decision overturning the state’s ban on same-sex marriage by noting, “From sea to shinning sea, Americans have defined marriage as between man and woman; whether in Alabama or Alaska, it’s safe to say transsexual nuptials are politically toxic. Although every candidate quickly came out against gay marriage, Democrats are the most vulnerable to the accusations of being [a] closeted activist. When it comes to the ‘marriage equality’ agenda, the man who calls himself ‘the most consistent advocate on LGBT issues’ is particularly suspect. Like a staph infection resistant to aggressive antibiotics, Barack Obama has a gay problem that will keep returning if only the American media will recognize and examine the symptoms.” Mr. Sanchez’ subsequent argument is somewhat watery and appears to criticize the Senator for equivocating on gay issues; however, Mr. Sanchez sends decidedly mixed messages about his own feelings towards the LGBT community. Adult Video News took note (click here), calling it “a meandering editorial… (t)he rant comes from a man who not only now calls his brief gay-porn career ‘an identity outgrown’ but also has been investigated by the U.S. Marines not only for appearing in gay porn, but also for alleged improprieties associated with fund-raising for what the Marines termed a non-existent overseas deployment.”

I dunno, do those two pictures even look like the same person? Could he possibly be IMPERSONATING a former gay porn star for publicity?

Oh well, I guess Kristen Bjorn or someone would have come forward if that were the case. Fun while it lasted.

Where is Kristen Bjorn in all this?

For a man with a famously big dick, Matt Sanchez is such a HUGE ass!

From sea to shining seas, Americans are awakening to the idea that ALL of it’s citizens should have the same rights, including the right to marry whomever they choose, as well as the right to make a horse’s ass out of themselves writing hairbrained editorials.

The man with a gay problem isn’t Future President Obama; it’s once gorgeous, and now horrifically stupid Matt Sanchez, long may he rave.

    Douglas – Now THAT’s a cool editorial!

Awful Plastic Surgery thinks he got a brow lift, but Matt Sanchez attributes his Michael Jackson-like metamorphosis to something called “facercise.”

There’s no way in hell he changed the structure of his face by doing exercises.

    Hmmmm. verrry interesting!

  11. Will on May 29, 2008 9:56 am

Question: WHY would he want to change the structure of that (formerly) beautiful face? Was he really being recognized THAT much? Or is he really THAT ashamed and self-loathing?

I doubt the facelifting thing…but more importantly, what did the Marines’ investigation(s) find? Was there any disciplinary action as a result?

The far right must be dredging the bottom of the barrel if Matt Sanchez is their “moral compass” on the issue of marriage.

re: what did the Marines’ investigation(s) find? Was there any disciplinary action as a result?

According to the Army Times the military investigation covered his porn career, his admission of working as a prostitute on the Alan Colmes show, and accusations that he committed fraud by trying to bilk donors of cash for a fictitious deployment to Iraq. So far nothing has come of any of this.

I saw it mentioned elsewhere that he was thrown out of the military for fraudulent enlistment, but I’m not sure how accurate the source is.

As for the donor scam, based on what was reported, it sounds like they had a verbal agreement. Proving these allegations would be difficult. However, I think it’s damning that two different organizations accused him of running the same scam.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he got special treatment because he’s well connected. Jeff Gannon got a seat in the White House Press Corp even though he was a fake reporter working for a fake news agency. And someone in the White House leaked classified documents to Gannon re: Valerie Plame.

Gannon and Sanchez hung out together at this year’s CPAC:

Remember Tony Sinatra? He did some movies for Catalina (Headstruck) in the early ’90s. His real name is Jeff Griggs, and he’s a gay Republican. Anyway, a few years back a friend in Washington got him an invitation to the White House where he had his picture taken shaking hands with GWB. Does Scott McClellan’s book have any scoop on the Jeff Gannon matter, I wonder?

  19. rich on May 30, 2008 8:46 am

I dunno, but Jeff Gannon commented on McClellan-gate yesterday…

    http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/05/29/jeff-gannon-scotty-youve-changed/

Jeff Gannon quote: “Add me to the growing list of those who are having great difficulty understanding McClellan√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s motives. I spent two years as a White House reporter, much of it during McClellan√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s reign. At no time did Scott ever indicate, either publicly or privately, he had the misgivings he expressed in this book.

What I hear about the book does not sound like the Scott McClellan I knew for two years. I can say without fear of contradiction, that I knew Scott better than any other White House correspondent or Washington reporter.

In my book, √¢‚Ǩ≈ìThe Great Media War: A Battlefield Report√¢‚Ǩ¬ù I discussed McClellan√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s handling of the White House press operation. At every turn, I gave Scott the benefit of the doubt for the devastating communication failures that plagued the Bush administration. It now appears that Scott did not deserve such allowances. By his own admission, McClellan either perpetrated a fraud behind the podium or has done so with this book. Whichever the case, Scott McClellan√¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s credibility is zero.”

    Oh. My. God.
