Late Friday night, the news quietly broke (h/t to TheSword; click here) and by Sunday afternoon the applause√¢‚Ǩ‚Äùand the hissing√¢‚Ǩ‚Äùon the interwebs had grown to a dull roar: Man-mountain Zeb Atlas would be making his hardcore gay sex debut for Falcon Studios, following the first time he has allowed himself to be orally serviced by another man onscreen, via Jake Cruise at his eponymous website (click here). Naysayers have already doubted whether the scene would happen, but it was scheduled to go down today. Despite a flurry of emails since Friday, I waited until this morning to speak with a studio rep to confirm the news and get the skinny on several other Falcon items. As Constant Readers may already know, Mr. Atlas will be paired in a marriage-themed two-parter with Matthew Rush that is being shot as we speak in Las Vegas. John Bruno is at the helm, and Tony Capucci is among the cast. Stay tuned for more details. Other items: Falcon’s recent FLEET WEEK (as well as several films in the Jocks Studios line) featured hotly debated cum-eating that generated more raucous publicity than the studio has seen in years, but with the departure of CEO Todd Montgomery (click here) that policy has been reversed. No more oral cumshots or spooge-eating for now. Also, no one, per Falcon this morning, has been approached to replace Mr. Montgomery (The Grapevine suggested otherwise, but those rumors were firmly shot down). Everyone on ATKOL was saying the Atlas/Rush scene wouldn’t happen. David Forest, Atlas’ agent, chimed in that, no, the deal was set and even outlined the scene chronology that builds up to it (over TWO dics, mind you). But I smelled wiggle room in his statement, and asked if there was a legally binding contract holding Atlas to the deal. He said there was.
How exciting!

No way I’m buying this until I can watch the scene online first. I don’t want to shell out $50 or more for a one-scene movie, essentially. So I’ll wait until it’s on Naked Sword or wherever. I’m more curious about Tony Capucci, actually.

Just saw an item where Forest was bragging about this deal and the huge piles of cash Zeb Atlas would be getting just for showing up. He compared it to other lucrative deals with gay for pay actors like Ryan Idol and Jeff Stryker.
They’re partying like it’s 1989 over there — which is only adds more weight to the perception that Falcon is adrift. Throwing giant piles of money at straight guys who have no interest in gay sex is so pre-Elton/Ellen. It’s pathetic and a little insulting that Falcon thinks we should be excited about this deal.
Is there a publicist more repulsive than David Forest? He’s acting like he’s doing us a huge favor and we should be grateful.

I couldn’t agree more with you guys! I just read this and cannot believe my eyes. Who cares about Zeb Atlas and even worse Matthew Rush? If this was 5 years ago maybe, but they’re both old news, sorry!

The biggest threat to the Falcons relevance is the decline of the mainstay of Gay Porn since 1980, The Video’s themselves! Not the technical quality which is actually better now than 10 years ago, but the actual end product. We are witnessing the end of an era as the company that Made Gay Porn what is today declines into irrelevancy just like Catalina!

I think this would have been relevant 8 years ago when Zeb Atlas was on the cover of MEN Magazine and Matthew Rush had never bottomed. Now, it’ll probably be a hot scene but nothing earth shattering.

Didn’t the studios that paid those mega-salaries (HIS, Catalina, Odyssey Men) all go bankrupt?
I wonder how much fresh talent Falcon could’ve hired with all the money they’re throwing at Zeb Atlas?
