Zeb & Matthew, Sittin’ in a Tree…

Pictured are Zeb Atlas and Matthew Rush on the set of their vaunted pairing last week in Las Vegas for Falcon Studios. John Bruno was the director, and the handsome bodybuilders shot an oral-only vignette, with Mr. Rush servicing Mr. Atlas. Let me try to put this delicately; there has been some behind-the-scenes drama since this scene was shot. Emails flying hither and yon! Agents raging! Betrayal! Anger! Backstabbing! Or, you know, not…because I’m told that a d√ɬ©tente has been reached, and all is currently mezzo-mezzo in GayPornLand (honestly, this kind of fol-de-rol is nothing unusual). [H/T GayPornBlog.]

    Apparently, as I pointed out in the Jake Cruise/Mike Roberts thread, much if not all of the fol-de-rol was caused by a bogus poster in the ATKOL forum posing as Rush.

    So everything’s hunky-dory in GayPornLand!

    I wrote a similar comment on another blog about someone disrespecting Gay-4-pay models.

    To the Anonymous person-

    Putting judgement on gay-4-pay models is not fair. Its bad enough that the gay community is discriminated by a lot of straight people. Everyone should be open minded about an individuals sexual orientation. Everyone should come together and not pass negative thoughts. I’m sure Zeb Atlas will do an amazing job. Matthew Rush is still an excellent performer and the two of them will make a hot film.

    Agreed, Lewis. Even if they’re all singing “Kum Ba Yah” between blowjobs the advance publicity for this project is extremely off putting. Who wants to watch a porn scene where the straight guy had to get paid a record-breaking 1990s-style salary just to take his freaking shirt off.

    Everyone that is shouting now should realize this is the same tired formula that we have seen many times before. Zeb is only in the beginning stages of his porn life cycle.     How did ATKOL determine that the poster was a fraud? Someone has been posting as matt rush xxx since as far back as 2005. Did someone hack Matthew Rush’s account? Or was the account fake all along?

    Or… are they just saying these posts were fake to stop the negative anti-gay4pay backlash?

    rich – As far as I can tell from the thread, the real Rush used to post on ATKOL but hadn’t in quite a while, so a few were indeed suspicious when he showed up this time, but most (including me) weren’t. His posts were up for over 24 hrs. before being removed, so I assume a proper investigation was done. That’s all I know.

    By the way, I don’t know if this is true or not, but the scuttlebut is that the FIRST Rush post was legitimate, and was left up for a bit after the bogus ones were removed. Accordinng to David Forest, the real Rush later removed that first post himself.

    I (wisely?) archived that first post in the Cruise/Roberts thread.

    BREAKING NEWS (yawn):

    ATKOL has now put all of the Rush posts back up, It appears Falcon was responsible for them being declared bogus in an attempt at damage control. Upon further investigation ATKOL has determined they are genuinely from Rush.

    Douglas – I’m with you. I have officially lost interest as far as this immediate controversy is concerned. My only interest now is in what this may mean for Falcon. They pulled a pretty desperate stunt here that blew up in their face, so now they’ve got trouble on TWO fronts where before it was just one.

    Just watched the Matt Rush video. How’s this for irony? Falcon gets props in some circles for discontinuing oral cum shots. But Matt Rush ends up getting a parasite from rimming Zeb Atlas because Atlas didn’t properly clean himself. As part of Atlas demands, Rush was subjected to rigorous testing, but he’s the one who ends up getting the STD from Zeb Atlas.

    Everyone knew what they were getting into with this scene, except, that small little issue Todd Montgomery forgot to tell everyone at Falcon about, the Jake Cruise scene(s)! DOH! Matthew did NOT get giardia from Zeb, medically impossible. First of all it take 7-14 days for symptoms to appear and second of all giardia is actually hard to diagnose as it can require a couple of stool samples to properly diagnose. Matthew was emotional, drunk and uninformed, a dangerous combination if you’re going to get on the web and profess ANYTHING. BUT, it’s weird, on the video Matthew almost looks like he’s ‘acting’, he slips in and out of the ‘drunk’ state he’s in so maybe this is a weird PR stunt?

    I really doubt this ws a PR stunt. Falcon emailed everyone and anyone who had the video posted. It’s obvious they were trying to clean up the mess Matthew made. Look at ATKOL. They lied and said the post were fake. Turns out they were not and now they have egg all over their faces. Pr Spinmaster Troy Prickhead is trying to save face. Too late Falcon you guys fucked up.

    Falcon even censored a youtube video that had a picture of a picture of Todd Montgomery and the Falcon logo by claiming copyright infringement.

    First they lied about how great the scene went. Then they lied about Matthew Rush being upset. And now they’re trying to censor anyone who dares criticize the company.

    I don’t get it. I read the Email about how Troy Prickett said that the you tube video was 3 weeks old and that it was “old news” If it was posted 3 weeks ago why didn’t Falcon take it down then? Something smells fishy. Falcon has allot of explaining to do, and where is Matt Rush in all of this. What does he think? Oh wait i forgot Falcon censored him too. Poor guy what does a guy have to do to get outta his contract go sybil?? Oh wait he already did that.

    The whole thing smells like PR to me and a whiff of Desperation.

    An aside the You Tube clip was a “fair use” video cam clip of MANY websites covering the departure of Todd Montgomery. This was a news EVENT and Falcon had ABSOLUTELY no grounds to remove the video.

    I believe they prevailed or pressured the poster of the YouTube clip to remove it.

    And it is an open secret who posted it in the first place! ;)

    Where was the support for Matt Rush when it’s ex CEO gave that internet stalker DK an interview? In my eyes Falcon is just as responsible for Matt Rush’s meltdown. Now there trying to cover it up by censoring sites.What ever happened to freedom of speech. I saw something mentioned on Perez Hilton about this. I wonder if Falcon with censor him too. I doubt it he is the queen of all media!
