CocoDorm Model Killed in Car Crash

We’re sorry to report that former model Eric Lamar Turner was killed Monday, July 7, in a traffic collision after leaving Chicago’s black gay pride festival. Mr. Turner, 23, performed as “Lamar” for CocoDorm. He was a passenger in the car; two others, the driver and another passenger, also died. The accident occurred on Chicago’s I-65 during rainy weather. Performer Baby Boy spoke to blogger Rod 2.0 about his costar. “Lamar was a great, well-rounded, goal-oriented person [on] the FlavaWorks team. Even though he was with us for a short time, what a special time it was.” Our deep condolences to the FlavaWorks/CocoDorm team, as well as Mr. Turner’s family, friends and fans.
