Humping Thru Brazil with Tommy Lima

Another example is Alexander Pictures and Pulse Distribution, who took note of the enthusiastic response to our short Beauty Shot piece (CLICK HERE) on luscious Tommy Lima. A press release circulated over the weekend talks about three upcoming pictures featuring Mr. Lima that I mentioned in the earlier story√¢‚Ǩ‚ÄùTOMMY LIMA IN BRAZIL: ON THE BEACH (two duos, one threeway, one fiveway); TOMMY LIMA IN BRAZIL 2: IN THE JUNGLE (two duos and a threesome); and TOMMY LIMA IN BRAZIL 3: SOCCER PLAY (three threeways). “If you’ve seen many of the hot films coming from Alexander Pictures, you are sure to have noticed the sexy and versatile Tommy Lima popping up all over the place,” they write. “You might also have noticed that [director] Alexander seems to enjoy Rio more than any of the other South American destinations where he films. The TOMMY LIMA IN BRAZIL series is a threeway fuckfest between Alexander’s camera, Tommy and Rio.” The press release goes on to dish behind-the-scenes bits, such as the complicated process devised to allow Alexander, who is Russian-born and deaf, to communicate with Latin actors who don’t speak Russian, English or perform sign language. The company notes that Alexander communicates primarily through sign language, which his Spanish-speaking business partner Raul understands and interprets into English or Spanish as necessary. This makes communication with Mr. Lima, who speaks no English, easy enough. But shooting with Brazilian models required the help of a production assistant named Rodrigo, who also speaks Portuguese. Alexander conveyed his desires via sign language to Raul, who translated them into Spanish for Rodrigo, who then translated the directions once again into Portuguese for the Brazilian performers. Got that? “Too much work!” Alexander says in the press release. “But everything went smoothly.”
(In case you’re wondering, Alexander is the only director of gay adult films I know about who is also deaf. We’ve also had several performers that I know of who are profoundly deaf√¢‚Ǩ‚ÄùJ.D. DeMarco, who made just a handful of films in 1996 and ’97, and current, sizzling hot porn pup Zack Randall.)
TOMMY LIMA IN BRAZIL: ON THE BEACH drops on August 4. The series came about because Alexander wanted to incorporate “the three things that are most famous in Brazil. Those are the beach, soccer and the jungle”√¢‚Ǩ‚ÄùI would add least one more thing√¢‚Ǩ‚Äùand “Tommy, ever ready to roll over on his back for a big dick and a few bucks, whores his way through men he meets on the beach, at a soccer stadium during a match, and then in the jungle as he takes a hike.”
During ON THE BEACH, Mr. Lima sunbathes, cruises a few local hook-up spots, and “stays on the top floor of a hotel overlooking Copacabana Beach. The amazing view is enough to make you want to take the trip yourself, but the film gives you enough of a glimpse to hold you over until the weak American dollar is a little stronger against the Brazilian reals. I had no idea Alexander is deaf. Interesting. I had forgotten about JD DeMarco, but he was in a few good ones when he was working. Didn’t realize he was deaf, either.
JC Zach Randall has two hearing aids one for each ear and is profoundly deaf if he is not wearing them (He wears them in most videos)

If anyone saw Alexander’s appearances in his first movies, the “Brazilians Do It Better” series, they would know about his deafness. I do find it impressive that he is able to work around it so effectively when directing.
I wonder if Alexander Pictures is still planning on going through with their vacation program where tourist could fly down to Brazil and hang out with the porn stars. The banner for it is still on their website but the section is now offline.
