I believe what we are seeing here is not that gay for pay men or men in porn are more to likely to committ crime. Gay men are likley to committ different types of crime.Gay men commit crimes of fraud or theft; less violent types of crime than straight men. Straight men or gay for pay types committ more violent types of crime than gay men.

Just as the Adult industry is becoming recognized by a younger crowd as legitimate we get an old school salacious taste of the seedy shadow world of porn. I’m both amused and reticent. Jailed porn actors and killers may be interesting on some level, but there is exploitation coming from both sides, and in many cases coming to a gruesome finish. No one who is dead or sitting in jail is laughing. Are we taking our jaded industry perspective past the point of our where our better angels dare to tread?
