The Scene: Thursday was opening night for Temptation at Apple Restaurant and Lounge in West Hollywood. DJ Chi Chi LaRue was set to spin, with publicist Jason Sechrest hosting and superhot Johnny Castle shaking his moneymaker. We teased the opening on Wednesday (CLICK HERE). But here’s the dish: My phone rang late in the afternoon and none other than David Forest was on the other end. He is fresh out of rehab ‚Äî one month early due to good behavior and the indulgence of L.A. Superior Court ‚Äî and wanted to celebrate his return the social whirl with a table at Apple prior to watching Mr. Castle work his thang later in the night. He invited me to join him, and even though I’d had a long, moderately frustrating day, there was no way I was gonna pass up this opportunity. (We were joined by director Jamie Hendrix and XBIZ editor Joanne Cachapero.) He is healthy, happy to back in the thick of things and ready to get back to work ‚Äî but not as an agent. “I’m done with setting up movie jobs,” he told me. “That part of my life is over. I am just focusing on my ‘Forest Meetings’ program and staying sober.” We had a lot of gossip to hash out, so stay tuned for some of that and a longer chat with Mr. Forest.

Wow, I thought that was him!! JC, I think I saw you last night at David Forest’s table…… we were going to go over, but thought better of it. I wondered if you were going to mention that he was back, and you certainly did.

He will fall off the wagon and be back in court ordered re-hab, or jail, within 6 months.

The upstairs club was pretty empty, but downstairs was pretty good. Think what you want about his movies, but ChiChi rocks it as a DJ. Weired, JC, but I saw David forest sitting at his table, too….were you sitting across from him or next to him?

Well, I really didn’t want to bring this up, but Andy’s hangover just makes me wonder how wise it is for someone just out of rehab to be in that environment.

Six months is a generous time! I say if he gets involved with the “business” again to any degree, he will be drunk within 30 days. I have tons of friends and family who fight alcholism/drug addiction and the one’s who make it stay away completely from their “past haunts”. But knowning how David is, he is stronger and not like anyone else. He can do what others cannot! Time will tell. He is like a moth—drawn to the fire!!!

DF is just one huge fu*k up. If he paid ANY attention to his rehab he wouldn’t have been out at a bar. His desire for attention is bigger than his desire for sobriety. He seriously needs to go away – no one wants or needs him in the aduly industry any more. He’ll be causing trouble in no time and be drinkin’ and druggin’ before you know it. And JC…shame on you for even entertaining him.

He should be no where near bars, party environments etc. at least for a while.
Very slim chance of him staying sober like this.

I thought Orkin got rid him once and for all!
