New Release Desk: Precondom Classics from J. Brian

New Release Desk: Chicago’s Bijou Video has a new set of precondom blue movies on tap for re-release: TUESDAY MORNING WORKOUT (1975) and RAW COUNTY (1978) by the famed erotic photographer J. Brian. Both were originally shot on film and eventually transferred to video; Bijou had each film digitally restored to create a new DVD master. Erotic Expo Names eLINE Award Winners

The 12th Annual Venus Erotic Expo in Berlin closed Sunday night with the 2008 eLine Awards. The trophy show is administered by European trade magazine MEDIENeLINE and recognizes achievement in the adult biz in a variety of categories, most of which are focused on straight porn. As far as I can tell, only three trophies were awarded to the gay/bi/trans side. Constant Readers will recall last year’s international incident involving the David Awards, handed out by GAYeLINE Magazine, when Treasure Island Media won Best U.S. Studio. If the Davids were handed out this year, the winners haven’t yet been released to the press. Anyway, helmer Herv√© Bodilis claimed Best European Director for his work for Marc Dorcel, while OFFICE SLUTS (Berlin Star Film) won Best German Gay Film.
