Crime Blotter: Nickolay Petrov Faces Feb. 20 Sentencing

Crime Blotter: Edmon Vardanyan ‚Äî known to gay adult as performer Nickolay Petrov ‚Äî will spend an additional three months in a Florida prison until he is sentenced for accepting money to threaten and attack an elderly couple. Yesterday, Alex Shevgert, a co-defendant, was convicted in Federal Court in Tampa on one count of conspiracy and two counts of “traveling in interstate commerce to injure, kill or harass.” A jury found him guilty of hiring men, among them Mr. Vardanyan, to attack his parents-in-law “because they cut him off financially,” according to a newspaper report. Mr. Shevgert fainted when the verdict was read and paramedics were called, but he recovered and was not taken to a hospital. A judge ordered him to appear before the court for sentencing on February 20, the same day three additional defendants ‚ÄîMr. Vardanyan, Larik Cholak and Sergey Zeb ‚Äî are to be sentenced for their role in the crime. I could say exactly what I feel about this man and how he should be dealt with very severely by the authorities, but what happens in jail is another matter. I am too much of a Lady to say what I hope will happen, and I hope, as quickly as possible!
