New Release Desk: Bel Ami’s “Lemonade”

New Release Desk: Okay, I realize I’ve been suckered in by the DVD inserts Bel Ami has been producing lately; my sweeth tooth for adorably cute, smooth-chested pups has been unquenchable lately. And I’m keen on LEMONADE right now ‚Äî “Everybody needs a little refreshment!” ‚Äî because the lovely pup snuggling within Brandon Manilow‘s arms is Dolph Lambert, a lanky cutie who is perhaps the studio’s reigning princeling. (You guys went a little loopy, not that I blame ya, when we ran the first of a series of posts about him all the way back in January ‚Äî CLICK HERE). Costars include the valiant Paul Valery and frizzy-haired Troy Allen, plus Justin Boyd, Jean-Claude Duvall, Kevin Elola (crystalline blue eyes, that one), Tobias Hayek, Fabian Lally and Ollie Safranov. The film streets December 1 online, and in retail two weeks later. I’d have preferred if Messrs. Brandon and Lambert were actually gazing into each other’s eyes rather than affecting the romance-novel pose picture here, but it’s still romantic and sweet, and gently sweeps away the dreaded Monday yips.
