[Editor's note: Gay Porn Times has signed a deal to provide LGBT content to industry publication XBIZ.] Gay adult production house Pitbull Productions has been awarded $2.85 million in a default judgment against The Urban Netmedia Group, Inc. and its file-sharing website WhatsTea.com for copyright and trademark infringement. Damn! That’s a lot of money. Somebody’s gonna be paying that off for the rest of their life. If I was in that position, I’d fake my death and move to Argentina like that girl did on Medium. LOL
That is a lot of money, but let’s see if they can actually collect on it. They got the website at least…
I’ve been thinking a lot about this. I don’t know much about file-sharing, but I do wonder if Pitbull will actually see a dime of that $2 million dollars? Couldn’t The Urban Netmedia Group just file for bankruptcy and move on with their lives? Maybe Pitbull knows that they won’t get paid and just used this lawsuit as a scare tactic to decrease file-sharing of their movies. I know this topic is over 10 days old, but I’d still like to hear opinions on this issue.
