Beauty Shot: I have no particular reason to run this shot of Clay Maverick, as seen on the cover of 2003′s BIG TIMBER via Falcon Studios. I just needed a blast of masculine male beauty this afternoon and he qualifies. Sigh… I actually worked with Mr. Maverick a few times when he was employed by MSR Videos for STUDS ‘N PUPS (an excellent duo with Ollie Kicks, an unrepentant bottom-slut who lived to serve his topmen, and whose aggressive sexuality brought out the best in Clay) and WHITE TRASH (where he is so brawnily beautiful you’ll want to slap your mama). Titan Media now owns both films. He was never the most expressive actor, so unfortunately his fans never really got to understand that in reality he was a big ol’ dork—a strapping, breathtakingly sexy doofus. He mostly kept to himself on set, but afterwards at dinner, with a few drinks in him, his true personality would come out. I don’t think he was quite able to come to terms with his bisexuality; he told me he never had sex with a man unless it was on a porn set. “When I’m straight, I get laid once every six months,” he once lamented. Clay Maverick has been offscreen for three, almost four years; he turned 32 this past July.
