Tre Xavier Blasts Gay-for-Pay Producers, Models, Fans

Performer Tre Xavier certainly isn’t shy about sharing his opinion (CLICK HERE for his rant about racism in gay adult). Today on his blog he unloaded with both barrels at gay-for-pay performers, and the producers who hire them, thus creating a genre that he feels shouldn’t exist in the first place. And if you watch gay-for-pay porn, he has a few choice words for you, as well. His ire stems in part a similar post made to Fleshbot several weeks ago that took note of a vignette on FalconStr8Men featuring gay-for-pay Patrick Bateman (a/k/a Matt Murdock) fucking Marc Stone doggy-style and balancing a pussy magazine on the guy’s back for motivation. “This guy really rubs us the wrong way,” writes Associate Editor Brian O’Brien. “We get it, gay-for-pay is here to stay, and it’s not really something that we mind all the time. We’re also sure that most straight guys in queer porn look at straight porn to get them hard and get them off, that’s fine. But for Bateman to rub it in our face this way just really pisses us off… So, Mr. Bateman, if having gay sex is so distasteful and unpleasurable for you, why don’t you say, oh, stop doing gay porn! Tre Xavier takes that baton and runs with it. He deems Mr. Stone “a bona-fide dumb ass” but I’m not sure why; because he agreed to the scene?
Mr. Xavier agrees with Fleshbot that Mr. Bateman “is an ass for agreeing to be a gay-for-pay actor” at all. But his true targets of scorn are the FalconStr8Men and other other producers for creating the content, as well as consumers of the material for supporting it with their dollars. “Get angry at yourself as well,” he writes, “if you’re enough of a trifling dumb-shit to support it.”
He takes both camps to task: “The gay males (far from being men) who feed this ‘gay-for-pay’ machine are so weak in taking their stand that they hate their lives, trying to make a so-called ’straight guy’ do what they do is their revenge. When in turn, all it does is further displays self-loathing amongst gays that right-wing politicians can use to plead their case of how gays are ‘diseased in the head’ and further allows the so-called ’straight guy’ to deny his homo- or bisexuality.”
Mr. Xavier feels the existence of such content is an expression of heterophobia. “Making a self-professed straight man have sex with another man by throwing big numbers of dollars in his face is wrong,” he writes, crediting Straight Guys for Gay Eyes as an example of a VOD site that caters to the unattainable-straight-male fantasy without gay-for-pay pretense. “It is a website for those gay men who are secure enough with their homosexuality that they don’t need to see a self-professed straight man have sex with a guy,” he writes.
This obsession with forcing or inducing professed straight men into having sex with gay men is vagina-envy, Mr. Xavier feels. Or, rather, pussy-envy. “Yes, I said the P-word. Pussy! Pussy! Pussy! Pussy! Pussy! Now, stop being punk bitches and being afraid of it. After all, you came out of one, so if it wasn’t for the beauty of pussy, you wouldn’t be here. Mr. Xavier believes gay-for-pay is an incitement to gay-bash, as it propagates the idea that homosexual men want nothing more than to recruit straight males into the fold. “So the slightest gesture from a gay man no matter how nonthreatening can incite violence in that straight man to protect his personal space, because that ad made this straight man feel that gays want to intrude upon his sexual nature,” he says. “And one’s sexual nature is something that should be held sacred in every human being.”
Thoughts? Over the years, many performers have shared with me similarly awkward encounters on one set or another with performers, like Mr. Bateman, who blatantly viewed straight porn — Jackson Dedeaux (long retired) once told me about kneeling in front of a topman, waiting for him to get hard, when the guy balanced a straight-porn magazine on his head.
Straight guys have been a part of gay porn since its early days because we all, at one point or another, fantasize about that untouchable straight guy. It can be an intoxicating fantasy.

Still, when you log onto a site called “FalconStr8Men” what the hell do you expect? Did Patrick Bateman take it too far? Did the director and/or editor of that scene ruin the fantasy by including a shot of him balancing a pussy magazine on the back of Marc Stone?
Do you believe, as Tre Xavier posits, that gay-for-pay is an incitement to gay bash? Personally, I feel that’s a load of rubbish. That’s the same argument that says a woman can’t dress provocatively because she could incite a man to rape; she was asking for it.
But it’s worth asking whether there is a line that should not be crossed in gay-for-pay. We can pretend a gay is straight, for example, as long as we don’t have on-camera proof that he’d rather he fucking a woman. How would it be possible to eradicate the genre permanently? Fire away.

Pictures do speak a thousand words. That photo says everything you need to know about the ridiculous. debasing state of gay4pay porn, especially on the web. A DVD producer would have at least attempted to edit around the action. Here it’s obvious that both guys would rather be anywhere else doing anything else but this. How can anybody get off to that?
