As I bisexual male, I think this whole gay for pay concept is ridiculous as well as a big turn off sexually. Men who can’t own up to their sexuality (bi, straight, gay, whatever) are a bunch of sissies. If one is bi, gay or straight then just say it. I don’t comment on sites like this often, but I just wanted to say something about it.

Listen you little fool, I may agree that g4p is a disgusting phenomenon insofar as its marketing exploits internalized homophobia, but the degree of Sean being appalling by respecting the sexual orientation of others (which is being FETISHIZED here–straight orientation) just trades on the same idiocy that results in that self-loathing–gender norms. So no, contrary to your false belief, this has nothing to do with respecting the sexual orientation of others, but of “respecting” the gender roles which result in internalized homophobia that makes one want to see a “real man” in gay porn in the first place. Your suggestion only compounds this problem. It has nothing to do with being a “real man” or a “real gay man,” and using the same tools that result in internalized homophobia to stop it never will.

No matter how absurd this guys rant is there is some truth to it.

There isn’t any distinction between this particular scene and what other films are doing. At least it’s upfront about this problem. The concept of Gay-for-Pay is ridiculous and insulting. What’s wrong with being labeled gay? Your already are performing in porn, which isn’t entirely socially acceptable – a similar view to which society holds toward being gay.

In real life, I’m sick of closet queens who are sexually active with men and yet cannot come out – so why would I want to see this in porn, which is supposed to be my ideal fantasy. Porn companies should catter to me, and what I want to see – which is two people enjoying sex. This is where some porn becomes degrading for the participants involved, both viewer and performer. If you don’t like having sex with someone you shouldn’t, no matter what.

There is no difference between Ted Haggard and Gay for pay pornstars, for instance Leo Giamani, both are self loathing fags who can’t deal.

Well, once again Falcon has grabbed the attention of too many people. Who are the fucking morons that claim Falcon is the devil but continue to draw attention to them by commenting, and commenting, and commenting?
