Sneak Peek: The folks at William Higgins Productions have provided Gay Porn Times with an advance peek at the DVD insert for DOUBLE CZECH 2009 featuring a brand-new set of gay porn twins: Adam and Konrad Richter. The alterations include a revamp of its client portfolio by dropping any labels that produce extreme fetish content. The company attributes the rise to a “steady increase” in bookstore sales. Retail chain Barnes & Noble chalked up “strong growth” for Unzipped magazine; its October 2008 issue featuring performer Johnny Hazzard on the cover sold “the most copies of any issue in the past two years,” the company said. The January 2009 edition of Men magazine crowning performer Reese Rideout as its “Man of the Year” was its fastest-selling edition for Barnes & Noble in two years. PlanetOut, Regent Merge Without Unzipped Media

Regent’s Stephen P. Jarchow and Paul Colichman will serve as Chairman and CEO, respectively and will own 80 percent of the combined company. They also will form the initial board of directors with PlanetOut Chairman Phil Kleweno. The Regent Entertainment umbrella also included Unzipped Media, publishers of gay adult properties Men, Freshmen and Unzipped magazines, and their related websites.
