Lucas Raunch Fetish Flicks Banned by Canada
February 16, 2009 | 2 Comments
[Editor's note: Gay Porn Times has signed a deal to provide LGBT content to industry publication XBIZ.] Two gay adult fetish films produced by Lucas Entertainment were flagged by the Canadian Border Services Agency early last week and prevented from entering the country. PISS! and FARTS! were recently released under the Lucas Raunch label with a focus on watersports and flatulence, respectively. As yet, the CBSA has not elaborated on their decision. The watersports featured in PISS! triggered the agency’s “obscenity indicator,” according to a press account. Per Canadian legal standards, the definition of obscenity includes the “ingestion of someone else’s urine⦠with a sexual purpose.” The agency additionally classifies watersports as “degrading and dehumanizing, with a risk of substantial harm.” CLICK HERE for the full story at XBIZ…!

Michael’s response about not changing anything in his movies is admirable but that same response did not work for Max Hardcore who ended up with a fine and prison time for obscenity in Tampa.
Canada Customs/Border Services/etc. has long had a hate-on for gay material in general. No judge is going to strike down the obscenity provisions of the law and open the doors to snuff/child porn, bestiality etc. So Customs routinely uses this provision to hold back whatever they feel like because there’s no way to challenge them without going to court with all the costs that entails. There was a gay/lesbian bookstore in Vancouver BC that took the Agency to court several times for seizing their shipments, they would win their cases and Customs would just wait a few months and then start seizing their stuff again.
Personally, I’ve had DVDs seized for being ‘obscene’ and yet I’ll find copies in (the gay section) of an adult video store a few weeks/months later!
Fortunately, they haven’t found a way to ‘protect’ me from the Internet, though I’m sure they’d like to!! LOL
