Buenos Aires Lures Director Ben Leon

[Editor's note: Gay Porn Times has signed a deal to provide LGBT content to industry publication XBIZ.] Video-on-demand network AEBN.net and Raging Stallion Studios have tapped house director Ben Leon to oversee a film production unit in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The move came about as a result of last week’s merger between the two companies. Leon and his team will train local staff and coordinate all of the company’s production in the region. Leon tested the waters earlier this month when he traveled to Buenos Aires with Raging Stallion photographer and studio partner Kent Taylor to shoot their debut all-male film in the region. Featured players in that film include fan-favorite performers Pedro Andreas, Daniel Marvin and Max Schutler, among a cast of nine. The studio is currently set up to produce between four and six films per year, which will be folded into the planned Raging Stallion release schedule of 65 movies in 2009, and 75 movies in 2010. Well all I can say is if you haven’t seen those Argentinian boys get it on you just haven’t lived. Man oh man they turn out sexyness there like McDonalds turns out french fries. And without the menacing vibe you get from a lot of the Brazilian stuff.

Thanks, Will. Why am I Chris Ward for thinking Argentines are hot? I think Mr. Ward and I actually have very different tastes — I’m not a big fan of his product. Our tastes are different. I just don’t buy into trashing people for no good reason.
Now, now… we shouldn’t tell Chris to shut up. His stories are so funny! Well, funny if you know the truth… okay, maybe funny isn’t the right word. Entertaining? Maleable? Outright lies!
You see, he takes a kernel of truth, that AEBN is now, in fact, the world’s biggest gay porn studio in the world, and massages it to say the top gay porn studio in the world. To be the top gay porn studio, you’d have to 1) be profitable, which as has been demonstrated, the former RS was not; 2) have a string of hits, which until AEBN began paying for the productions, they did not; 3) have the respect of their peers, which they obviously most definitely do not.
To that last point, anyone correct me if I am wrong, but the silence of
Raging Stallion’sAEBN’s industry peers is deafening. Has anyone the likes of Scarborough, Rutherford, Cam or LaRue made a public comment or even offer a word of congratulations? I’m sure Chris will chime in with a long list of notes, bouquets and accolades he personally received, which we can take with the usual grain of salt; I’m looking for the blog post, press release, or anything verifiable. Anyone?But as to the assignment of Ben Leon to Argentina, congratulations. It’s interesting to see what these folks will do to break out of Chris’ gravity.

“Pedro Andreas, Daniel Marvin and Max Schutler”. How original, these performers have alraedy been used by SEVERAL studios that beat RS to Argentina by months and months. Pedro Andreas and Daniel Marvin did the infamous DP scene with Roman Heart in Falcon’s “Roman’s Holiday” and Max Schutler has been in a couple movies that Jet Set filmed in Argentina. Yawn, nice try RS but you’re just a little behind the 8-ball.
