The top photo is the view from the house in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, overlooking the Mediterranean, where he’ll be staying for the duration of the trip with his assistant and cameraperson mr. Pam. “It’s right behind an ancient church,” he writes. “You can see all of Tel Aviv from the balcony. The house is hundreds of years old, but they just finished renovating it. It should be all ready for my arrival. There are two floors, with a big living room upstairs and four bedrooms, with two bathrooms and a huge kitchen.” Cripes, with a view like that one, who could get any work done? Pictured, however, is a sultry young newcomer Mr. Lucas says he recruited in the airport.
