Thomas Jane is Really, Really ‘Hung’

Late last year I blogged about Hung, a forthcoming HBO series starring Thomas Jane as a sexy sad sack (aren’t they all?) who decides to take advantage of his huge cock to make a little dough on the side. Given the absolute terror a penis instills in the mainstream culture at large, I am a little curious as to how a television series centered around an extra-large schlong will come off (so to speak). The recently released trailer for the series (premiering this summer sometime) shows him attempting to become an escort; man, who saw that one coming? The trailer also makes it clear several times that Mr. Jane’s character is Straighty McHetero. I’m not expecting much — isn’t it fun to pre-judge? — but I’ll watch the first few episodes because, frankly, Thomas Jane is usually awesome even with material that blows (there I go again; pun not intended, but I’m keeping it). Might be worth a look.
Love Tom Jane. Punisher sucks but he is good and his body is fucking amazing. If you like him, Netflix “Stander” from about five ago, cool indie drama from South Africa. I will watch the first episode or two of this, at least. Will they pair this with “True Blood”?
