Robert Pattinson Joining Bel Ami?

The grapevine is having a bit of a chuckle over the news that vampire-twink Robert Pattinson is joining Bel Ami. Wait, what…?! Variety.com is reporting today that he is set to anchor a film adaptation of the Guy de Maupassant novel “Bel-Ami,” first published in 1885, and whose main character is named “Georges Duroy.” Ring any bells? Mr. Pattinson will play “a totally amoral character” for director Declan Donnellan. Ah, well, we can always fantasize. Who among the actual Bel Ami’s current crop would make a good sexual partner for Mr. Pattinson? He’s a bottom, don’t you think?

Fleshlight Launches Line of Branded Lubricants

Adult novelty manufacturer Fleshlight has announced its own branded line of personal lubricants. Fleshlube launches this week online and will be made available to retailers by midsummer. It was developed in conjunction with Vie Products Inc. A company rep notes the lubricant was formulated for use with the Fleshlight as well as with a partner. Fleshlube is available in Ice, Fire and Water varieties. “Water is the flagship water-based lubricant,” the rep noted. “Fire represents a warming lube, and Ice provides a cool tingle.” Fleshlube will initially be marketed in a 4-ounce size. Vampire Romance Goes Gay in ‘Twinklight’

I wrote in the previous post about TWILIGHT OF VIRGINITY, the straight-porn spoof of the vampire-romance flick Twilight and the first breeder blue movie to be released by The French Connection. In case you hadn’t heard, we gays are already on the case. Witness TWINKLIGHT, which sounds like a flick from PZP Productions, but it’s actually been announced by writer/director Afton Nills — Xtreme Productions, Lycan Films, 1R Media, Sin City Twinks — with adorable, rising-star pup Philippe Delvaux in the leading role as “Adonis.” There are a number of posters floating around, including one none other than Perez Hilton used when he plugged the film on his blog (nice bit of PR, eh?) back in March. Castmates include pups Kaiden Ertelle, Shane Frost, Chase Harding, Maddox Johnson, Rad Matthews, Levon Meeks, Lucas Sky and Ethan Storm. I think it’s set for release later this year.

All-male production and distribution house The French Connection is crossing genres with TWILIGHT OF VIRGINITY, a twist on the mainstream vampire-romance film Twilight and the company’s first straight-porn release. The erotic spoof was written and produced by the singly named Gutzenstein, and directed by Dick Tracy. It was shot in the home of Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx. Earthquake in GayPornLand

A 5.0 4.7 earthquake struck at about 8:30 PST tonight near LAX and shook up Gay Porn Times world headquarters. I could hear a low rumble in the distance but didn’t have enough time to process it before the building began shaking. That’s fairly low-key as far as temblors go, but you never get used to sitting in a building that’s rattling back and forth. We didn’t hear or feel the 3.0 aftershock.
