Beauty Shot: I’m working on a story this morning about the forthcoming mega-beef epic MUSCLE EDEN from Dynamite Studios. They sent along some tantalizing promo pics; here’s a quick taste for ya (apologies that reducing it to low-res brought about a touch of pixelization). The studio went all out on this thing — it was shot on a private South American island with a cast of 30. Could it be one of this year’s best-of contenders? [Image © Dynamite Studios.]

They look like action figures from a toy store arranged in some little kid’s back yard rock garden. With some depth of field magic it would really look that way.
