FlavaMen Blatino Awards Announce Celeb Host

Press Release Roundup: Organizers of the FlavaMen Blatino Awards have announced the talent toplining their inaugural show on Saturday. Toccara Jones will serve as “celebrity guest host,” said a company rep; Ms. Jones was a member of the season-three cast of America’s Next Top Model and serves as a host for BET. Scheduled to emcee are Chicago entertainers Otis Mack and drag performer Mz. Ruff ‘N Stuff. Earlier this summer, FlavaMen Magazine announced its inaugural slate of nominees, recognizing ethnic clubs and promoters, adult stars and studios, films and websites by and for men of color. Last week, a producer of the rival Blatino Erotica Awards accused the FlavaMen Awards of copying his show’s name and format (see the link below). The FlavaMen winners will be announced during a ceremony held in conjunction with the Atlanta Black Gay Pride this Saturday, September 8. The show will take place at Club 708 located at 708 Spring Street in Atlanta.
