BoyCrush Bites Into ‘Twink Blood’
October 20, 2009 | 2 Comments
Press Release Roundup: The hit HBO series True Blood, itself based on a successful book series, has spawned an erotic spoof titled TWINK BLOOD from SaggerzSkaterz Studios and BoyCrush.com. “Eighteen-year-old Miles Pride has decided to move to Phoenix to start his first year of college. He settles in, adjusts to the burning heat and the frigid nights, and finds that more than just the cold penetrates the city of the sun when that sun goes down,” the studio said. “Follow Miles as he risks everything to discover the truth behind some suspicious vampire attacks and the twist that turns his life upside down.” CLICK HERE for more details…
BoyCrush has previously partnered with SaggerzSkaterz Studios on the BOY CRUSH and BARE TWINKS series.
Costar Chase Harding said filming TWINK BLOOD was “so much fun” for the studpup cast. “The sets and props made the story come to life and of course the sex scenes make it the hottest gay vampire sex movie to be produced,” he said.
Castmate Andy Kay — billed as a “special guest star” — notes filming was “a rollercoaster ride.” He also penned the script and score. “I put my heart and soul into it. Writing for this project came easier to me than anything else I’ve done in the past,” he said.
“Even as we worked through post-production we could tell we had created something groundbreaking. There have been a lot of holes left in the industry and the fans deserve a company that can fill them. This is our first feature-length, plot-based film and it certainly won’t be our last.”
In addition to Harding, Kay and Pride featured players include BoyCrush exclusive Felix Russo with Phillip Ashton, Patrick Kennedy and Edie Leslie.
Bryan Kenny, BoyCrush owner and CEO, notes the vampiric powers of seduction, eternal life and everlasting youth intrigued him. He also expressed a fondness for the “Vampire Chronicles” books by Anne Rice, including charismatic, undead protagonist Lestat.
“With all the recent books, movies and television shows portraying vampires as sexy and cool, I feel society is shifting towards viewing vampires as sensual and intriguing rather than villainous monsters,” Mr. Kenny said. “I decided that it might be a good time to mix boys, sex and vampirism.”
In addition to TWINK BLOOD, the company has simultaneously launched the BoyLair boutique label and BoyLair.com social networking site, which is expected to go live in time for Halloween.
A DVD release party is scheduled for Oct. 29 at Forbidden Nightclub (6820 E. 5th Street) in Scottsdale, Arizona. Doors open at 9:00 p.m. and attendees dressed as vampires will receive a free copy of TWINK BLOOD.
