Room for Stephen Geoffreys in ‘Fright Night’ Revamp?

In case you hadn’t heard, the remake of the horror-comedy Fright Night has new life. Genre-favorite Marti Noxon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, among others) has been hired to script the remake. CLICK HERE for the details. What does this have to do with gay porn? Constant Readers with long memories will recall the 1985 cult classic costarred actor Stephen Geoffreys, now 45, who starred in a number of popular ’80s flicks — I’ve always had a soft spot for 1985′s Fraternity Vacation — before veering into gay porn as Sam Ritter. He filmed a few dozen mostly B-list titles throughout the 1990s. (Fun fact: He was also nominated for a Tony Award in 1984.) Surely there is room for Mr. Geoffreys in the remake? How can they not include “Evil” Ed?! Per IMDb, he’s acting again after an extended hiatus.
