Todd-Welch-Falcon[Edits: 11:40 a.m.] We have more sad news to report this morning. Performer Todd Welch has died following a battle with “an aggressive and rare form of lymphoma,” said FabScout Entertainment‘s Howard Andrew, who informed the adult industry of the news over the weekend. Mr. Welch filmed for several web studios and had shot roughly half a dozen DVDs since 2007: ENDLESS CRUSH for Falcon Studios, TOP DAWGS for FPG Entertainment, and several titles for Lucas Entertainment, including WELCOME TO PARADISE and FEET!, released earlier this year. In late August, FabScout, Rentboy.com, Coconut Grove Guesthouse and a number of Mr. Welch’s industry colleagues and costars organized a fundraiser to help pay for his medical bills and expenses. “He was so thankful for all the outpouring of support and optimistic as he looked toward the future,” notes FabScout’s Gio Caruso in the comments section below. We’ll have more information soon. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans.

I write this message with a heavy heart. Howard and I had the pleasure of knowing Todd prior to his entry in the industry and we were proud to call him a fiend. Aside from his work in porn, he was loved by so many people in the South Floria Gay Community.

He fought his battle with cancer courageously and with great humility. A short time ago, the porn industry and the community of South Florida came together for a weekend of fundraising to help him with expenses releated to his battle. He was so thankful for all the outpouring of support and optomistic as he looked toward the future. Unfortunatley, for all who knew him, his death came too soon.

As I drove to work this morning, there was a giant rainbow in the sky. I had not seen a rainbow like that in a very long time. I would like to think that it was him looking down on all of us smiling and saying thank you for all the love and support he had from family, friends and the industry.

    Rest In Peace…

wow… I’m so sad to hear of Todd’s moving to heaven. Wow 🙁 Way too soon.

I had the pleasure of working with Todd last year in Ft. Lauderdale, this same week actually. We were shooting FEET (yes, he does have cute feet!) I remember there was a mis-communication about his rate, so I said, ok, we’ll pay you more & give me your performance of life! And he did! HOT!!!
He was so super sexy, fun, erotic and most of all, a total sweetheart and joy to shoot!! It was a beautiful day that I will cherish forever 🙂

Thank you Todd for being awesome, sexy and wonderful. My heart goes out to Gio, Howard, all Todd’s friends & family…big hugs & bigger rainbows!

    much love & admiration….
    mr. Pam

LIVE LIFE TO ITS FULLEST FOR TODD!!!!

I’m really sad to hear the news of Todd passing. Actually I’m a bit shocked at the moment. Todd was a really nice guy totally professional and a sweet soul. I really enjoyed working with him and I had hope to work with him again. He had a sweet soul and smile. My deepest sympathies to every one at FabScout and Todd’s family. Appreciate and validate your friend and family everyday.

    Big Hugs
    Tony D.

It brings me a great deal of sadness to hear this news of Todd’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him many times and he was the sweetest, friendliest and most genuine guy you could imagine. I have lost both of my grandfathers, my grandmother and my mother to cancer…so unfortunately I have became very familiar with this horrible disease. My thoughts are with all of his family and friends as I know this will be a very difficult time for them all. Thank you Todd for the time we spent.

ShowGuys.com moved to south Florida in the fall of 2006, and Travis (or Lee Covington as he was known on our site) immediately became one of our favorite models. He never gave a bad performance, and was always a total pleasure to work with, with an almost old world charm and graciousness. We will miss you Travis.
