Diesel Washington, Roman Heart Get Grabby

Pornsters Diesel Washington and Roman Heart will be heading to Chicago during Memorial Day Weekend. The studs are set to co-host the 2010 Grabby Awards alongside dragstresses Honey West and Chi Chi LaRue, both of whom have emceed the extravaganza since its inception. Mr. Heart is a longtime Falcon Studios exclusive, while Mr. Washington is a free agent. As our Constant Readers will recall, Grabby producers have for the second year undertaken a fan-driven contest to determine the final skin star co-host/s (Wolf Hudson won last year) and Monday the top-ten crop will be revealed. Half a dozen or more guys have been actively pumping their Twitter/Facebook fans and followers for support over the past month; some are even campaigning as duos for added star power. GPTimes Housekeeping: Today is a travel and catch-up day for the chafing Gay Porn Times staff. I am traveling back to Bratislava, Slovakia for another round of research and interviews with Bel Ami staff and performers for a couple of yet-to-be announced projects (sshhh….) I’ll be there for the next three weeks, which necessitates missing the Cybersocket Web Awards and the XBIZ Awards, which I regret, as it offers a rare opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues in the flesh, rather than via the interwebs. But the Bel Ami team is heading to Cape Town, South Africa in March for an extended shoot, and then I will be traveling in May and June this summer, so this was the best time to make it work and keep to our schedule for these projects. The GPTimes Tech Squad will keep an eye on things until I get settled this weekend, otherwise I’ll be blogging as usual. It has been a busy week on the site. Studio 2000, Nude Dancers Join Backroom

Press Release Roundup: Hot House Entertainment has expanded the all-male portfolio of its Hot House Backroom membership site. The company has added content from Studio 2000 as well as the “Nude Dancers Feed from the notorious Stock Bar in Montreal,” a rep said. “Stock Bar has staked out a reputation worldwide for hot Canadian beefcakes who dance fully nude with hard-ons.” The daily four-hour feed will reflect the previous night’s performers. Sneak Peek: I’ve been scribbling some promo copy for Bel Ami today, including for the forthcoming web compilation sexpic TODD & DOLPH. So many of our Constant Readers, as well as Bel Ami fans, loved the Howard Roffman photo shoot that produced this snap that Bel Ami chose it for the DVD insert. I’ll try to get a larger version, but click the links below for a closer look at a couple of additional pics from the set. TODD & DOLPH costars newbie Jack Blue, Luke Hamill, Ariel Vanean and Ralph Woods. The movie includes the condomless “Croatian Holiday” home movie episode shot by Messrs. Rosset and Lambert on their own that nearly set the Bel Ami servers afire when it premiered a few months ago. Beauty Shots: Apologies for the delay in posting this morning, folks. Last night, I discovered my poor, overworked MacBook had left a note saying, “Fuck this shit. Going on holiday. Bugger off. Love, Mac.” Eh, I’ve been riding him hard this week, so no hard feelings. Just got myself back online a short while ago. In any case, I wrote recently that one simple pic of Austin Wilde in his underwears prompted an overflow of traffic to the site (CLICK HERE). Well, Mr. Wilde has already been supplanted by Brent Everett. Anytime I post about him, people go nuts and the traffic triples. He’s aware of this phenomenon and quite grateful. You clearly prefer the nakedness shots over the artier fare I prefer. I am here to serve. Oh, and no, he’s not planning to make another blue movie for someone else. Besides the fact that he is focused on building equity in his own company, most studios can’t afford his scene rate (or won’t pay it). Pierre Fitch said the same thing when we spoke the other day.

AYOR Forges New Distribution Deal

Press Release Roundup: Pacific Sun Entertainment and Czech Republic-based studio AYOR have announced an exclusive distro pact that brings the six-year-old twink-centric company to North American shelves, and includes forthcoming features as well as its back catalog. AYOR — an acronym for “At Your Own Risk” — is headed up by director Robert Boggs. “His special touch in capturing the way male friendship can grow into sexual desire has proven anything but risky,” said Michael LaBarbera, PacSun director of production and marketing. “His approach to porn — half-adult, half-documentary — is unique and arousing.
