Supreme, Lattimore Snag Blatino Oasis Erotica Awards

Press Release Roundup: Performer-director Ty Lattimore will receive a lifetime achievement honor at the 4th Annual Blatino Oasis Erotica Awards in May. Mr. Lattimore owns and operates his own production label and has anchored more than 40 films in his 13-year erotica career. Performers Shorty J., Jovonnie and Castro will also be feted for their work in blue movies. An award for best newcomer will be announced during the show itself. Pitbull Productions and web studio DawgPoundUSA.com have also earned citations. Held in conjunction with a weekend-long series of parties and events catering to men of color, the Blatino Erotica Awards are bestowed upon “individuals, organizations or companies that are committed to presenting imagery that is of the highest erotic quality and respectful of men of African or Latino descent and men of color,” said producer Joe Hawkins. The Blatino Oasis unspools May 7 – 10, 2010 in Palm Springs, Calif. at the clothing-optional Canyon Club Hotel. Chicago-based comedian Sister Quintella is set to emcee.

I’m looking forward to going to this event. It was fun last year–the awards are cool–hanging out at the pool and gettin drunk ain’t bad either! Congrats to the well-deserved winners! Blatino Oasis Rules, Beeatches!
I’m glad to see the work of black and latino men honored. Sadly, it doesn’t happen at the other awards shows.
