Tabloid Tizzy Tries to Link Tag Eriksson, Daniel Craig

More catching-up news and gossip from the far-flung corners of GayPornLand. I know this might be old news to some of our Constant Readers, but bear with me as I catch up on a month’s worth of developments. In any case, some tabloids and gossip websites are attempting to make hay from the fact that ex-pornster Tag Eriksson is now a real estate agent and apparently sold an apartment to actor Daniel Craig. In a nutshell: BFD. You know some petty queer asshole decided to give himself a tingle by calling the tabs. What difference does it make how Daniel Craig’s real estate agent used to earn a living half a decade ago? Gimme a break. This also somehow confirms that Craig is a homo. Slow week on the gossip party line, eh? I don’t want to link to the sites running with the story, so hit Google or Bing if you care for more details (not that there is much to the so-called revelation).

I’d like to find the person who wanted to start up this crap and kick him square in his so-called nads…if he even has them. What a lame-ass thing to do. And you’re absolutely right..what the hell difference does it make how someone happened to earn his living in the past. And to assume someone is gay is about as lame-ass as it gets. He should be left the hell alone. If real estate is what he’s doing now, so the f-what?

I just want to call your attention to the fact that other people are calling your attention to the fact that there’s this rumor about a high-profile person. And may I say that I find what those other people are doing is so lame.
As for Daniel Craig being gay, well he was once married and had a daughter. He also lived with a German actress in London – so I would have thought more bi?
Wow, such vitriol regarding a story that is actually quite encouraging when it comes to porn performers going on to bigger and better things! I took the story — at least the (re-?) outing of Eriksson — as one of those “see, you can do porn and have a career” moments that we’re inevitably going to have as people mature and acknowledge we all watch porn and that someone does porn doesn’t mean the performers are lesser human beings.
But as to whether or not Daniel Craig is gay or bi or whatever, it does matter. We have yet to see a major hollywood star come out. Now, I love Neil Patrick Harris, Rosie, Ellen, et. al., but for a star of the magnitude of Craig to come out, it would make a difference to those kids who in this day and age are kicked out of their homes by their parents while still in high school just for being gay. Maybe if those bigoted parents could see someone famous — someone who they admire for whatever reason — come out as a proud gay man or woman, the parent(s) may actually not see their child as spawn of Satan. Studies have shown that if you know someone gay, you’re much less likely to harbor bigoted feelings towards gays.
And here’s the funny part of this whole story: the disclosure of Eklund’s past actually helps to make that point.
