Vintage COLT Clips Gets Indie Flick Screen Time

Happy Monday, folks. On Friday I posted about the indie film The Kids Are All Right (Focus Features), directed by Lisa Cholodenko and penned by Ms. Cholodenko and Stuart Blumberg. The story centers on a long-married-with-kids lesbian couple and a subplot involves their interest in gay porn. There has been some squawking about this little detail in certain quarters; how could lesbians be interested in gay porn? Click the link below for more color. I’ve been curious about the porn clips seen in the film and emailed around to some film reviewer friends — none of whom, even the gay ones, could identify the clips. But then pornster Samuel Colt Twittered over the weekend that he’d seen the film and told me the porn snippets — seen twice in the movie — are apparently vintage COLT Studio: CLICK HERE for a snippet of the first one starring Gordon Grant and Paul Storr (collected in BEST OF COLT 3-4) and CLICK HERE (compiled in BEST OF COLT 5-6) for the second. I have a call in to the COLT folks for confirmation, but if this turns out to be inaccurate, well, then enjoy the sight of tanned, musclebound men making love to each other.

i think it was Colt movies. I saw the movie last week and recognized them.
Hopefully I’ll have time to see it, though QFest here in Philadelphia is keeping me busy. Just by the brief description I think I may like it. I find it quite interesting that lesbians like gay porn…rather odd, but still. But then again, I consider myself a bi/pan-sexual so go figure. LOL! It’s all relative. You like what you like and sexually orientation shouldn’t really come into play.
