RIP: Performer Shane Risk

We have more sad news to report: GPTimes has confirmed that performer Shane Risk has died. The news has been on the blogosphere, but it took us several days to verify certain details. He passed Monday, July 26 at home in West Hollywood, which we confirmed via a print source. He was 25 years old. The cause of death has not been officially released. Shane’s erotic output was small, just one film—last year’s TAKEN: TO THE LOWEST LEVEL—plus a compilation and nine or ten webcam episodes for the Channel 1 Releasing site. Shane was also known and celebrated for his gifts as a singer and musician. He was briefly signed to DV8 Casting, whose Jason Sechrest shares a few personal memories on his blog. Funeral services are being held tomorrow (Friday). We are withholding his birth name by personal request. Our condolences to his family, friends and fans.
