Francois Sagat’s Wonky YouTube Trip

Pornster-turned-art-world-muse Francois Sagat has kept busy this summer promoting his leading roles in two independent flicks—L.A. Zombie from Bruce LaBruce, and Man at Bath from Christophe Honoré. But as we’ve noted over the past several years, the musclebound hunk has also served as muse to photographers and art-world denizens the world over. He’s got a new project on tap: starring in a wonky video by Lukas Beyeler. “Worry not! Weird-as-shit Francois is back,” snarks my colleagues at Fleshbot. The clip is a candy-colored acid trip version of a home shopping call-in show, or something. “We’ll take a stab in the dark and say this is some sort of critique of capitalism,” Fleshbot notes. “Who knows? Who cares? We love everything Francois does, but we love him most when he isn’t making any sense.” I agree wholeheartedly. Check out the Italian Vanity Fair link below for more examples. Okay this is pretty standard weirdo fare for Francois. The costume changes are hilarious. The skirt and roller skates sorta hurt my eyes though. His Baywatch-red, barely-there swim suit was kinky-sweet. wish I’d been the blow-up shark he was hugging
When he comes over to do that, he can leave the lime green pantsuit and platform zoris at the door…
