Matthew Rush Retires from Blue Movies

The gay-porn-gossip blogosphere is abuzz over the news that erotica legend Matthew Rush—he’s among the featured studs in Gay Porn Heroes—has announced his retirement from the blue-movie beat. The news first broke via Mr. Rush’s Twitter account, which has since been changed to reflect his birth name, Greg. He claims to have met the man of his dreams, which means that “Matthew Rush” is officially benched. The new guy is even bigger and brawnier than Mr. Rush—CLICK HERE for a peek—and is not a performer. Rush was the first Falcon Studios Lifetime Exclusive but famously left the venerable company a few years ago to spread the goodness among a variety of other studios. He made his erotic debut about a decade ago, quickly vaulted into the stratosphere and has remained there ever since. Around that time, John Rutherford, when he was still at Falcon, confided at an awards show, as we observed admirers buzzing around Mr. Rush, that he had never in his career seen a porn actor become so famous, so quickly. “Many (myself included) had never had the chance to jerk off to someone who looked like him—especially in a Falcon movie, considering the studio’s penchant for only casting clean cut white boys,” mourns TheSword.com. “Matthew Rush was both everything a gay porn star was supposed to be and like no other gay porn star anyone had ever seen before.     These guys always announce their retirement with great fanfare and then sooner or later they’re back. Just stop making movies! It would take more than a year before anyone even noticed, especially Matt/Greg because he is twittering constantly.
