Cybersocket Awards: Helix Studios, Monroe, Wilde Take Top Honors

Porn Awards: As you might have guessed by visiting the blogs today, GPTimes lost its sixth consecutive bid for Surfer’s Choice: Best Porn Blog at last night’s Cybersocket Web Awards. A hearty salute to all of our Constant Readers for their support. And cheers to QueerClick for taking the crown. At post time this afternoon I have yet to find a complete list of winners. But Dean Monroe won Best Porn Star—well-fucking deserved—and Best Newcomer went to Derek Parker. The Best Personality honoree was Austin Wilde, while Best Movie was THE CAGE from Helix Studios, which has to be considered a bit of a surprise given its low profile. Men.com is the Best Video Site winner, while Lucas Entertainment won Best Content Producer. Check back later for a full list of winners whenever someone posts them. Both photos here were snagged from The Sword. At right is dragstress Raja entertaining the crowd, while Marcus Mojo can be seen at left, with dragstress Rhea Litre. The interwebs are abuzz with the news that he has apparently retired from the skin biz. Onward and upward.
