* Sexpert Cory Silverberg over at About.com‘s sexuality microsite has an intriguing article about vegan condoms. “The main issue for vegans around condom manufacturing seems to be about the use of casein,” he writes. “Casein is a milk protein that is used in the manufacturing of latex for condoms. Vegans on the whole don’t use milk products or by-products.” He also advises that vegans stick with non-lubricated condoms, as some lubricants contain ingredients that may have been tested on animals. * Treasure Island Media and director Max Sohl are touting SUCK IT on DVD, DTO and VOD. * XBIZ reports that art photographer Leslie Kee and two printing executives face obscenity charges “for printing and distributing 4000 copies of a book that includes full-frontal male nudity.” The books by Hakkou Art “contained 50 pages of uncensored photos that violate Japan’s laws against obscenity.” Despite “no clear definition of what is regarded as obscene” the men face hefty fines and up to two years in prison.
